I love how they animated her in this movie. Fast, brutal, but also you get the sense that she isn't actually chambering her strikes completely (like she's only barely batting the bad guys and that's all it takes).

Are you serious ? Severals of the hits she land on thoses guys were deadly. there's no way a normal human can be punched through a wall and survive. Or the guys inside the tank she flattened. I don't think she's holding back at all. she struggle against Aquaman who is nowhere near her level of stength, durability and experience. His only advantage is his divine trident.

@@efaristi9737 Yeah, she's a demigod. She doesn't need to try very hard to bash people through walls and send them flying. I never said her not chambering = she's trying to spare them. I think she is holding back in the sense she has no need to go 100. Her fight with Aquaman shows her trying a lot harder.

Love this version of WW because her design is neat and detailed. Her face and figure are drawn very feminine and yet strong. Her power level here does the character justice and she doesn’t need any rescue from Superman. In my opinion this is one of the best she has ever been in an animation.

Think they've (Diana & Kal) saved each other a handful of times. They aren't usually dependent on one another tho. A typical threat doesn't require the entire league.

She is an Amazonian warrior and raised to fight with various weapons such as swords, axes, spears, bows and arrows, and any type of melee weapon. I don't think what they added was extra because it extends her ability to fight not just in hand to hand combat. She is incredibly strong already, but when paired with her Amazonian weaponry, we can see how she can really do some damage. Honestly, I love they added the sword and shield because it makes it complete and encircles her Amazonian prowress.

Like this version of Wonder Woman. She displayed physical prowess and speed. She's displayed leadership. Her battle against Aquaman was good. Being the Wonder Woman fan wanted her to achieve victory. She battle without using the magic lasso. It was about her fighting skills, intelligence and leadership.

Well the animation models don't hav the same limitations as 'human' actors. I wud've liked to see ww fight more entities of the Greek pantheon in her solo live action(s).

Definitely not. You’re probably just a mindless sheep who follows popular opinions because they’re afraid to stick out. WW 2017 was amazing and she was both endearing yet a badass warrior. It got a good score and almost made a billion dollars. Especially after a shit show of movies. BVS SS and then they were gonna make a WW with a non white lead? It’s shocking how much money it made.

No matter the incarnation, Diana always ends up losing Steve to the war. It's basically a trope at this point that, if you want to be a superhero, you have to lose someone you care for either by a, complete, freak accident, murder or at your own hands....

Wonder Woman is an interesting character, but it seems like she's difficult to get right. I know a lot of ppl think she's not got enuff personality (i.e. she's *just* a warrior, but not much else) - I thought she was great in JLU & DCAMU tho. Hopefully they'll do a great job w/ her in the rest of the Tomorrowverse & in the new DCEU too.

loved this version of WW, but nothing is going to make me like the sword and shield XD I'm sorry, but WW is a pacifist just as much as she is a warrior, and carrying around lethal weapons goes completely against that! She should only use any type of weaṕon when fighting against monsters, not regular foot-soldiers. Not to mention that she is COOLER when she's fighting with just her hands and lasso

Ngl, I'm never sure how fast Wonder Woman is supposed to be. It usually seems like she just has slightly enhanced speed (like Captain America, Thor or Black Panther), but there are also times where she seems as fast as Superman 0:08, especially when deflecting bullets. I'm also not sure how strong she's meant to be compared to Superman tbh. Some versions (like the DCAMU) make it look like they're pretty evenly matched, but other versions (like the live action Justice League film) make him feel significantly stronger than her.

She's canonically Multi galaxy level and beyond that, they usually like to water her and other characters down from the comics, but lately they've been getting her powers right, and she's MFTL.

This animation is awful, but the good story and brutality of it kinda compensates for it. Sadly, latest movie doesn't have either, and we are all left with the clunky animation
