Where have I stated I hate the director? Nowhere! I have simply stated my opinion on the disconcerting trend to make women more like men, and vise versa (which the comic book world gets involved in). The reversal of male-female roles is destructive to societies, which is clear from history. There are certain roles that only women should fulfill and those that only men should fulfill. It's called diversity in equality. All men and women are created equal but the roles they play are different simply because they are wired for them better than the other sex.

Have you heard about how dangerous it is for women in India and how high the incidence of rape is there? I choose those countries because between China and India there are approx 3 billion people. That's a lot of female suffering. How long do you think women should wait for fair and ethical treatment? How many men, including yourself are willing to stand up and demand a stop to the brutalization of our wives, mothers, daughters? Steve Trevor is a pretty important character for Diana in the comics, although in the newest versions, Diana and Clark have a thing, so that'll likely happen in the films instead. Especially since this is set in WWI. (blegh) I honestly liked trailer #2 better, this one was a bit too generic.

I doubt it will happen in the films. The one comics couple that carry over into the wider public's consciousness is Lois & Clark. Don't think you'll see that messed with much in the movies or TV, especially not with the limited time available onscreen. If anything they seem to be playing up the flirtation between Bruce & Diana.

Not a Marveltard at all. I love DC and I get more and more disappointed in the DC movieverse with each movie they release. I don't want a dark gritty Superman, that is what Batman is for. Marvel and DC have both confused being "light and positive" with "being funny and quippy". You can have an uplifting Superman while maintaining a serious tone. As for Steve, I don't know how they will do it. Chris Pine hasn't signed any contracts past this movie and WWI was an insanely long time to even try to have an aged Steve appearing in a WW movie.
