Val Kilmer is one of the greatest most naturally talented actors and individuals that has ever come through television period! I don’t care what anyone says, he is and always will be one of the most beautiful sites to have ever lay eyes upon aside from his gifted ness as an actor. And when he should leave this world, he should never be forgotten! I love ya, and thanks for everything you have contributed to the screens across the world!
such an underated movie val killmers performance was in the top 50 of all-time. the direction and editing were superb and to top that it had the best non liner script of all time (yeah terintino fan boys I said it.)
Well, Tarantino has WAY too many nonlenear scenes in his movies. It's almost kind of deliberate. Like, his trademark. Which I'm not that big of a fan of, to be honest with you. "Wonderland's" were very subtle, and didn't leave you totally turned around all of the sudden.
Well it is a wonderful piece of work on your part. I literally get chills multiple times every time I watch it. It totally works - you get across exactly what you intended to. I even posted it on Facebook.
This is a great example of turning a negative ( the murders ) into a positive. This was WONDERful way of celebrating the Wonderland murders and John Holmes. 3:03 says it all.
That's the great Matthew Aberle. We worked together in the music business in the early 1990's. Hes a music supervisor now and "Wonderland" was one of his projects. He worked closely with the Director to set the tone and mood with appropriate music cues. Check out his other credits on IMDB
a little more practice and he could play gordon :) one of my favorite songs, written by one of my favorite songwriters, sung by one of my favorite actors.
Dylan McDermott gives an Outstanding Performance. I was captivated the whole time he was donig the interview with the police. He Upstaged Val Kilmer and that is no mean achievment.
Very underrated movie. Val Kilmer was fantastic as Johnny Wad but he is just one of a fantastic cast. If you haven’t watched this movie do yourself a favour and check it out. Oh yeah and don’t forget to look for Carrie Fisher as the Jesus freak. Small part but very well played. Tell them Johnny Wadd sent you
I know this is random...I remembered there's a Lind interview scene when Love on the rocks is being played. Who played that version's guitar riff & its not the credited soundtrack version by Jonathan Davis.
@lorireece1 Yeah i listened to that commentary too. And what's really sad that at the end of the movie, the scene where Sharon was remembering when John had visited her the morning of the murders and he was in the tub, I remember the director sayin that he was re-educating himself and who's the first person a hustler hustles? He hustles himself. Which is quite sad. What a very sad life to lead. To this day though i still consider Wonderland to be one of my all time favorite films.
I personally loved this movie; granted it was very sad that it had all came down to this. I am and always have been a fan of Val Kilmer, Kate Bosworth, Lisa Kudrow, and Dylan McDermott. Dylan whose character was David Lind looks eerily like my husband. All the characters in this movie are either deceased or is still around. John Holmes; dead at age 43 of AIDS; Dawn Schiller God Bless her and Sharon Holmes are still alive and I am in contact with at least once a day. They both went thru HELL
RonnyUniverse He owed the gang the money of the cocaine he had stolen. And don't forget that he didn't take part in the robbery: he stayed home with the girls. John Holmes was a piece of shit, l'm glad that Ron beat him violently once.
all he did was help her to that make that choice but like Eminen says DRUGS R BAD!!!!and it was sad,a waiste.Bad choices, the thoughts that cross our minds, may seem ok til its to late n we cant take em back.
Horrible rendition of a great song, I drove by the house the other day . I watched the movie years ago and now I have to watch the movie again because I'm not sure if it's the same house used in the movie. The street is very tight and cramped, all the streets up there are like that and the houses are very close to each other as well. I don't remember it being like that in the film, amazing how they had the balls to commit such a crime with neighbors being so close.
Val Kilmer, I know your a "method" actor and all that. But your no Gordon Lightfoot..This singing was more frightening then the movie, and thats saying a lot, seeing as at the end they used the ACTUAL crime scene photos from the ACTUAL murder...Talk about disturbing..Kate Bosworth cant sing worth a damn either, much less act...As least Val can act the shit out of anything, even though he's fallen off the radar and doing the whole Marlon Brando "I dont have to be in shape for Hollywood" thing....
