I grew up here and I’ll probably die here. Heaven on earth. Caught 6 salmon today and dug a limit of razor clams. Day in the life.

Beautiful video of a place my family has known well since 1938, when my great grandfather Robert Petrie received a title to some land as barter for his treatment of cattle near Winlock, where he was a veterinarian. Willapa Bay is heaven. To me, at least.

“Titanic bastion” of trees. The person who wrote the copy for this video gets five stars from this LA editor who returns to Willapa Bay as often as possible.

Most people can’t pronounce the names in this are. Naselle is actually pronounce like 2 words together. “Nay” “Sell” “Naysell”.
