Fate grand order has three gils as sumonnable servents Regular Gil as we know him a certified 5☆ Archer. Then caster Gil, 4☆ caster which is supposed to be him adter his archer self, after the situation with ishtar and enkidubdies in his lore, this is less arrogant wise king Gil, who decided to be a good king to his people. Then lastly kid Gil, 3☆ Archer and the only f2p version of Gil you can get. This is him before all of the baddassery, it's before he became an asshole abd is the sweetest scheaming cinammon roll you'll pull to be on your team. But this doesn't mean he isn't still capable of being a rascal. Like example here is this last years NA chrimas event. Kid Gil gave Jeanne alter a potion that made her Jeanne de arc santa Lily who is a free servent you got after completing the quests. A decent 4☆ lancer.

most people that wanna know more should read the Epic of Gilgamesh, the actual epic that was written over 4700 years ago by the sumerians. --SPOILER-- Gilgamesh had a friend who was as powerful as him, but then his friend died and Gilgamesh went on an epic quest to become immortal

Gilgamesh from Fate/stay night and Gilgamesh from Fate/Prototype btw, Fate/prototype is the ORIGINAL Fate/Stay Night, a lot was changed before the release of the FSN, and the design, settings, story as well as the system for master candidates was way different before the change, story wise Prototype seems to be a lot darker whereas FSN is only dark during Heaven's Feel Route

Lol... ...I like how when it comes to Babylon's Gilgamesh people admit that it's history, apparently including the part where he received a fruit that would grant him eternal life and a snake ate it giving the snake eternal life, yet when someone references the bible - might I mention Noah's Ark story DIRECTLY ties into Gilgamesh's story (the man he is seeking aid from is thought to be Noah) - suddenly it's all myth. On another note, I was really hoping for a game for another anime where Gilgamesh makes another appearance and Enkidu also appears under another master. Watching Gilgamesh cry at having to kill Enkidu would be great.

No. The left one is Gilgamesh and the right one is Proto-Gilgamesh. The right one was the original design for Gilgamesh, and the left one is the finished result.

I think proto Gilgamesh would win despite being weaker than his counterpart. To quote Shirou the reason he could be Gilgamesh was he was a master of None. So unlimited blade works countered him completely. Proto has mastered his two blades Enki on the other hand. Meaning he should in theory outpace Shirou.

Actually not... It's been said that there's three types of Servant. The one's who existed. The one's who didn't. The unknown ones. -True Assassin(Plus all other normal Assassins), Gilgamesh and Saber are the first. -Berserk, Rider, Caster, Assassin(Though his case is special) and maybe Lancer are the second. -Archer is the third.

Aoi Kurashiki The thing is that the classes are just ''vessels'' for the spirits. You could look at it like the class is the cup, the soul of the hero is the water. That's also why a Heroic spirit is different if summoned in another class, if he has the aptitude for it of course. The cup it's different, so the water has to change shape. Ruler is a... ''Backup System'' of the grail. Basically two factions of 7 masters each are created, and each one can summon servants. Ruler is the mediator. You could look at it as a ''In case of an accident'' reserve class.

Actually enuma elish can range from an attack as powerful as excalibur to an attack that can crack the space itself. This all depends on how serious Gilgamesh becomes and almost every time he was beaten was because he didn't find the enemy worthy of Ea's full power.

Yes, they're both him. One on the left is F/SN UBW version while the one on the right is the F/SN Fate (otherwise known as Deen's "F/SN") version

I think its one and the same person : Gilgamesh I can definitely say so because hes holding his trademark Enuma Elisch and you can see the chains of the gods on him. Hes from the Anime : Fate/Zero, Fate/Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Stay Night
