whatever happened to that woman who used to teach choy lee fut? her school was on mont-royal and st-laurent for years, like upstairs in one of those industrial lofts. This lady was pretty legit. Probably had to move because they turned this building into luxury condos now.. I don't remeber which style she taught, but i remember it was focused on a lot of applications and almost no forms at all. Kind of like how they do it in buk sing clf.
Yeah, wouldn't say terrible, but exagerated on the aesthetics to the point of being un pratical. Too much fency footwork, kicks doesn't seem that efficient. Same goes for the punches, too much arm swinging which renders the actual punch slow/inneficient. Undoubtely beautiful, fluid and artistic, but not really reliable as martial art. It's more a dance than a real fighting style.
@@leandromdelima it's an actual fighting style, one of the few systems that have numerous victories in full contact. Those long arm movements have a purpose.
