Thx mate. Depends very much on the time of year and current river levels. Generally not necessary but when its been raining like it had prior to this trip then definitely yes
Your commentary is really good. Very informative. I was watching and wondering to myself if a camper trailer could go along there but you already advised against it. 👍
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, while you 'could' take a camper trailer, subject to conditions I probably wouldn't. Unless you were with a group who were prepared to winch you when required.
It varies, on road (keeping in mind mine's a lot heavier than stock) I get around 11.5-12L/100km. Off road around 14.5L/100km. Does depend how I drive it.
Hey ash, do know them fairly well, they weren't 'that' deep and while it probably didn't come through on camera, you could see the bottom clearly. First time I did crooked river it was way up and I had no idea so actually walked a lot of those... If you watched the video Top Crossing Hut, they were very deep crossings, I was actually about to walk those and each time a group came through and drove them right in front of me. But yes, good advice, could save a very sad day if you're not sure!
What tyre pressure were you using to go through there. Great video as always and your mates a good driver. Done well. Thanks for putting in the effort and time making these videos.
running 25PSI on the rear and 22PSI on the front. My car is heavier in the rear so that's why I run the higher pressure, tyres bag out about the same front and rear.
