@@Baseballplayer1913if you’re not good with a wood bat, you’re not good, just saying, a good baseball player is all around good can use anything and still go crazy. Like this man.
travel ball being over saturated with dads building teams for there otherwise not good enough kids, is ruining baseball at the youth level. teams around here posting try outs, but not making anyone try out, is a joke.
@@ManFrog0009 Well... I live across the country in NY state. And word has it that the ball is still flying. Funny enough, I found a ball in my backyard, FOR REAL...
I think young kids would develop better swings if they had to swing heavier wood bats. My 9 year old played in wood bat tournaments last year and it was surprising how well they swing the bat. Many of them seemed to naturally shift more weight into the ball those weekends. Simply because they had to
Watched a kid I coach swing a cat x -10 one piece hit a high of 59 exit velo and then switched to the hype fire -10 hit 69 exit velo. I believe it does become a safety issue! It could all be solved by having the kids just swing wood bats only.
Are u slow?? In some games wood bats aren’t even allowed. And safety issue??? You do realize that a kid can get hurt either way right. And they should be able to field that like nothing. Why do u think they’re trained?
The Hype needs to be banned across the board. There is a reason they have regulations and this bat is not properly regulated. Average kids are hitting 20% further with a hype over other bats and thinking it's skill and not daddy's money.
even USSSA requires bbcor or wood in elite tourneys 13u and above. and high school ball NFHS and college ball all require BBCOR or wood as well. So its literally a bat designed to be used by kids under the age of 14.... letting highschoolers use it is when its a problem
Whered you get that "20%" number from. If its true that's really interesting but im pretty positive that's just made up. I highly doubt that with all the new technology in bats that there is just one that is 20% better than the next best bat
Lol the crazy thing is these kids are becoming better and better with all the tools at their disposal now. We see it each year in the majors feel like more vets are going unsigned in favor of younger guys on cheaper deals
Any time a bat is noticeably better than their peers (see BBCOR Stinger Missile 2), we should expect a decertification or organizational restrictions. Personally, I think USSSA will likely stop being the "tournament" certification in the not too distant future, and will be replaced by USA
Hype fire vs white icon. . . whats really exit velo difference, and how does that 2-3 mph difference make icon "legal" and hype fire "banned". Enjoying the vids, keep them coming!
Apparently the main reason behind the ban was that kids on defense are getting hurt by hits off of the Hype Fire. There have allegedly been 3 recent instances, and 1 kid is in pretty bad shape at the moment from a comebacker off the head. Some of these 11u/12u/13u kids that hit puberty early are absolute monsters and should not be allowed to swing a USSSA composite - let alone this -5 Hype that never should have been approved by USSSA in the first place.
@@baseballbatbroswe played with aluminum bats as a kid how is this any different? Teach the kids to duck after each pitch. Not saying the bat isn’t hot but that people have hit hotter bats and made it through life just fine. Don’t want baseball turning into the nfl where they are trying to ruin the game with all the rules and regulations
@@cameronmiller2306teach them to duck? Cmon. Plenty of other great bats still out there. It’s hardly ruining the game to ban one overly hot bat. Wouldn’t want my kids in a position of unnecessary danger
@@cameronmiller2306 Except, how many kids who played when you did *didn't* turn out okay after getting hit by balls off of those monsters? You may have personally been okay, but I promised you there were a ton of kids who ended up hospitalized or worse.
Hey I love your content my league is not allowed to use USSSA bats so can you find the best bats for USA because is I am trying to get the best bat in USA Thanks so much appreciate it so much
My kids team all love the bonesaber hybrid. Not alot of ring on the hands and it's not end loaded so the smaller kids can get it around easily. Hope this helps.
I played 25 years ago on a few AAU teams, even in American Legion ball. You would have used gorilla era bats back then and I would have loved to have you batting cleanup on my team. You remind me of a kid that I played high school against from Seymour High School in CT. His name is Jay Perez, 1999 mlb draft pick second round fourth pick. He got injured after a year or two and never played again but he hit nukes of the same caliber as you and used the Redline CCore drop 5.
Holy crap… I played against Jay Perez… I was playing against him for the majority of my career. He played for Hebron Legion IIRC, but Seymour for HS. That dude was scary AF with a bat in his hands. He was hitting MISSILES… thankfully I was playing 3B when he was batting lefty… but I moved back to 1B and he hit one that absolutely SIZZLED through the air as it went into right. I was playing on the back of the dirt as to not have one go through my sternum! Haha I miss those days and would do anything to go back and play again as a 15-18 year old. Man, sad he was injured. Once in a while I search online for some of the guys I played against to see how far they made it. Brian Sager from Branford, Brian Reinhart and Mike Wodnicki from Southington… Brett Burnham from Bristol Central…
@@hunterscrackdealer6650 I recognize all of those names, great players. I was a graduate of the 2000 high school class and played for Bucks Hill (mantle league, won the states that year), Crosby High (11-69 record in my four years there- we SUCKED) and Wilson Post 135 for Legion. Good old days. Nice to meet you. Perez was terrifying when I played first base. I’d move back to the grass and pray he hit it somewhere else.
@@MyYTaccountName nice! Yeah, Waterbury never had a very good baseball team whenever we played their teams. But obviously it depends on the years/group of kids. My team growing up was always pretty good… but my brother’s team a year behind me ended up stacked and made it to the Regional Little League Championship before they lost. Man I miss just knowing you had a Summer full of baseball. Countless games of Travel, Legion, Recreation and even got to play in some of the Men’s League games when I was younger and they were short handed. I wish we had the technology these kids have today regarding swing training videos, online coaching, video camera review… we just had to make it work through trial and error. Plus we were poor so we couldn’t travel to Florida for 2-3 weeks to play the Florida Talent like some of the towns around us with more resources. I played Legion Post 45 Man, I got the baseball bug again after getting my kids involved… Also, nice pfp… fellow Noticer
I remember back in my freshman year I had this demarini flame bat I dont remember exactly which demarini it was I just remember when I swung with it I have never hit better plus it always felt smoothing coming off that bat. Some bats especially new bat can hit really hot plus those missiles that come off those bats is wild.
My hitting coach was at the ballpark and saw the 14u utrip kids and decided to go watch. He saw a total of 7 at bats, there were 7 homeruns😐. ALL with the hype fire drop 5😂😂😂 PLEASE like my comment your my favorite baseball youtuber
I see them in 8U Coach Pitch. My son uses the Hype Comp, but that Fire is a whole different animal. I tell the kids back up. I think they have the drop 10
