From firewood logs to bowl blanks for woodturning. Check out my gas powered wood bowl blank machine and how I produce wooden bowl blanks. Once dried, they will be finished on my Robust American Beauty wood lathe. I also mill a 1" vertical grain board from the center which becomes spoon and spatula blanks, as well as cutting board material netting 180.00 to 280.00 from what would end up as 1-16" firewood round. (Sold as cord wood, not much value and as bundle wood maybe 5.00.) The hollowed out rounds become boiler fuel and heat the shop in winter. If you have any questions about the bowl machine, ask away!
