Wood Glue vs. Screws: Which Is Stronger? 

Won't lie. When you were pushing down on the first test, I found myself yelling "Watch your fingers" at the screen. Good video. Interesting to see!

There wasn't enough wood for the pocket hole screws to hold on to. Drilling them from the outside instead should make them relatively stronger.

Thanks for the video. Use more glue and clamp the joint tighter when drying. A glued joint can fail on the material if you get the hang of it. Then you move on to testing stronger wood to really put the joints to the test.

First test I said out loud move your fingers!! Lol

with the mitered joint - you'd need to test with outward force. the 45's are pushing against each other - .....

Pocket holes should just be a backup to your glue. Dowels are better for your 45’s. Get a dowels jig and use glue. Strong joint for your miter joints. Keep up the good work. It’s all about the learning.

At least in my opinion, a reliable study should have more samples.

Not the correct way to use pocket hole, wrong direction.

U used the best wood glue set up and the worst screw set up and declared the glue is stronger!!! Lol!!! Even with the weakest screw setup it out did almost all ur little glue setups!!lol 😂😂😂😂 it’s obvious that screws are!! Good job tho on a waste of time!!
