All four wood rounds turned out amazing! I love the “bienvenidos” and “dogs” sign best. I love this format and how you shared your lessons learned. Awesome video Lianep!! I really loved it friend! 🤗🥰
I'm just starting out making these.. I ran across your video and I love how you show the mistakes.. But i Love them All... I think you did a Beautiful Job... ❤️ Subscribed......
Thanks for another great video. Your “lessons” made me laugh. That’s pretty much how I roll, just learn as I go and often don’t remember what I learned the first time. Oh well part of the fun of crafting is improvising and working with opsies 😂.
Great video! I've been trying to come up with an idea for the wood round that I purchased now I not only have an idea I have some do's and don'ts lol thanks so much
They came out stunning. I really like the "Hello" sign the yellow flowers makes the sign pop, the "Bless this home sign and the Bienvenidos sign. I am Puerto Rican and you don't find signs in spanish like that here where I live. Have a great weekend .
Hi Lianep, i loved these wood rounds they are my favourite type of sign, you did a great job they are all gorgeous my favourite is the last one and the dog one I just really like how they came out, thank you for sharing this video, you show what not to do and better than thst yoy show how to fix it, which is important for me 😅but seriously these are really gorgeous, take care all the best mary in Australia 🌺😊
All absolutely stunning. What kind of wood are you using? Limited here, craft wise. MDF is available but wood looks so much nicer. Bamboo is na option of course and is fairly cheap at mass stores and wholesale stores. Pine we could do as it's cheap-ish but I'd have to get it specially cut t the hardware store.
Thank you so much ❤️. I usually buy the wood rounds at hardware stores. They call them round table tops. They come in different sizes and are available I. The wood section.
Love!! The animal one is my favorite 😊 as far as getting the graphics sizing on a Cricut for a round to what you want it to be, what I have found works great for me is once I have the round painted, I take a pic of it, crop it to size just the dimension of the round either by slicing exact size with a circle shape, or just cropping to the edges as a square pic before I import to Cricut. Then I have it on my Cricut desktop and put the graphics directly on top so I know exactly what to expect, and size the round to 17.5 inches so I don’t have to put any thought into the size of the graphic as long as I like how it looks on top of the round image. I hope that makes sense. It’s the tiniest bit tedious initially, but once you get the hang of it is super quick and worth not having to measure other than size the round image to 17.5 inches.
When you go to cut, you just have to hide or delete the Rounds image because it will error. I actually use this trick for any sign I’m cutting, import a picture and lay graphics accordingly.
I do use the circle shape and adjust the size to the actual size of my piece. And it works well...not sire what happened with the hello 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you so much for the idea
👋 good afternoon! New to your videos and loved all of the wood rounds that you did! looking forward to watching more of your videos as I loved all your "lessons learned" lol... i learn something new every time I craft myself so can totally relate! Thank you for sharing your video and experiences! Keep up the good work!
So you're the one that bought all the wood rounds 😂. Couldn't find those things last year now between cost and supply issues still can't find them. The paint to ribbon color choices are very nice 👍
lianep omg I'm so glad you said something about the bubbles I use the same exact stencil vinyl and I'm at the end of the roll and the bubbles are so bad I actually quit using it and just started using regular oracal 651 because I thought i was wasting so much but I don't remember it ever happening at the end of my other rolls I haven't bought anymore cause I didn't want to waste money!
Hi! Thanks for the "lessons learned". What kind of spray sealer do you use? Is it good to use over water base and oil base stains/paints and for exterior use?
Hi! Thank you so much for watching ❤️. I use some I designed. They are on my Etsy shop. The transfer tape I use is on my Amazon store. Both links are on my description box
I also just found your channel and I am also from Cuyahoga County. I live in Parma Hts. I really like your ideas. I enjoy painting, drawing and creating art. I am retired and would also like to know what people would pay for items at a craft show ?
Hi. I just found your channel and love your videos. These signs are so pretty. Thanks for showing us the errors as well. Can I ask how much you sell these for? I will be selling my crafts at a craft fair (my first one) and I have no idea how much to sell them for. Thank you and I cannot wait to see more videos!
Hi! Thank you so much ❤️ and welcome! Ok so noticing is one of the hardest parts for me. 😂 I sold these for $45 each. Although, I think I could have sold them for $55. I ended up making enough revenue that it was worth it to sell quickly and also bless someone with a less expensive decor.
Thank you so much ❤️ Yes..they are 18" x 1" thick. They are very large and durable I'm charging $45 here for local pick up. If I were to ship them I'd charge about $60-$65.
The shears .. is it called the miter shears on your amazon ? It didnt have the same yellow handle so i just wanted to be sure. If its not that .. im having a hard time finding it
I think they're actually called Aviation Snips (or as my hubs calls them "tin snips")...I got a good pair from Walmart but any hardware store will sell them. I actually used mine to cut the same plastic garden fence and since the cutters have a slight bend in them, it made cutting the pieces that go in the ground (especially the one in the middle), a little tricky to cut..just had to cut a little bit at a time so the plastic wouldn't break where I didn't want it to..😬 my hubs actually got a little upset with me for using them on plastic and saying "they aren't made to cut through that!" 😂😂 but if they'll cut tin, then a little DT plastic fence shouldn't be a problem for them 😂😂
I Love all of them, but I really like the dog one, I do love dogs, but I don’t have one anymore, I’m too Old to handle one.I’m disabled now. They were all so nice, I’m gonna make a couple of them, one for my granddaughter and one for my grandson. I had an idea but now lm just not sure, I thought their names Then I thought their first letter ,not sure about painting, what color, she is 13 and he’s gonna be 10 On the 14 of January. Got any ideas, ? he’s. In football ,so though I could work that . But her no idea.👍👍♥️♥️
Aw. Thank you so much ❤️. I'm so sorry you don't have a dog anymore. We don't have one either. But one day we will. So for a 13 Year old, I'd say something go with her favorite colors, songs, tv shows, etc !
How could one possibly pick only one????? I love all the lessons also I love that you keep it real and it helps others (ok myself) know it's ok to have oops You are just awesome
