Great question! This is manufacturer-dependent. Cheaper big box brands' faux wood blinds are likely to warp or smile/frown in high heat. The brands we carry are built to withstand higher temperatures. The sample in the video is a Norman Faux Wood blind. Norman creates their faux wood blinds with co-extruded slats that have a 125°HDT. This being said, faux wood blinds are not as durable to heat as wood blinds or metal blinds.
