Did you ever finish the video which showed the install? I would like to see how you put it all back together as well as how you did it from the inside. Most of the windows I have see install from the outside which causes you to have to remove the exterior trim.

Hey author....is it possible to remove either the entire window (frame and all) or just the glass pane within the frame from OUTSIDE? There's a building that has been makes off as dangerous with unstable flooring and so I cannot do it inside. Must've removed from outside the house. It's stained glass which I have an obsession with collecting and saving! **I the usual plethora or assumers and keyboard warriors even think about yapping that I'm " stealing a window from a house" ..." Omg....don't tell her how otherwise your an accomplis! " Don't do it smarty pants omnipotent being who ALSO believes they know everything. Just stay quiet. Watch another video.**

Replacing wood windows with vinyl windows! 🤢 I thought you were actually going to repair the window for the first couple of minutes. No thanks!

I live in a 1956 Sungold home in So Cal. I cannot stand the old original wooden sliding and double hung windows such as the one he's replacing in the video. They've been painted over probably a dozen times. I've detected at least 6 diff colors. And somewhere under all that caked-on paint is probably some lead-based paint ...and maybe Jimmy Hoffa. And you cant get them clean regardless of method used. Paint (sloppy ppl), water spots and film baked on by the sun. the wood is chipped, splintered. they dont seal worth beans. until i did a little work on the springs if we wanted any window to open, we had to prop them up with a book or dowel! in the bathroom, someone usually props a roll of toilet paper in there. Yeh theyre a classy bunch. Worst part is that the bathroom window is less than a foot from the entryway/front door! So whether you're showering or sh*tting, anyone who comes to the door knows it! Lame floor plan for sure! Explains why there are only 2 of this model in the entire tract! So neighbor just installed brand new vinyl all the way around the house. went & checked em out. After marveling at their new, clean look, I just stood there opening & closing these brand new smooth, quiet, tight, energy-efficient CRYSTAL CLEAR windows for about 20 minutes!! Magnificent in every way. nostalgia does NOTHING for me when it comes to operation, function & ENERGY-EFFICIENCY!! The newer the better! Of course we've got the never ending plumbing problems, main line, laundry drains into the kitchen sink. backs up into the kitchen sink a good 6 inches. smells like raw sewer gas. come on over i'll make u some cookies! Give the guy a break. Im a chick and i caught the gist of what he was doing. In fact, Im confident I could replace my exacting windows just by watching this video. Contemplating just that which is what brought me here. Actually I want the window out to paint the jacked up paint-caked frame, window, sash, sill, all that stuff which i only know by name bc i just watched this video. I know. YOU RECORD A VIDEO THAT YOU DONT REHEARSE AHEAD OF TIME , THAT YOU HAVENT WRITTEN A SCRIPT FOR ... BUT RATHER, IMPROMPTU AS YOUR ALSO DOING THE WORK! LET US KNOW WHEN ITS UP! :D :P :D He's smarter to put in the new vinyl window. Why would anybody want to keep junky old, used-up, inefficient windows in their home?

Seriously awful camera work. It's too dark to see, the camera isn't pointed at what you're doing, you don't explain what you're doing before you do it, and you do it too fast anyway. The only people who will find this video useful are those people who are already experts at removing a window, and they don't need to watch it. In other words, this video is completely useless to everyone.
