Hi Dennis. How do I know where on a block to place the two separate paper patterns? Do they need to touch at the corner or be placed in the middle of the block. I know to have them aligned across (parallel) but how far back does the profile need to be set or doesn't it matter. ATB.

Hi Dennis. Does the glue cause the knife to dull or chip its edge while carving? I know Superglue can but don't know about the white wood glue. This approach could be handy for me but don't want to risk my good knives till I know more. ATB.

What issue of woodcarver magazine was this in? I would like to do this project in the future.
