Woodcraft frame sliders stand out in a market crowded with look-alike options. Our patented design features a slider puck that can be replaced with one bolt. What makes the Woodcraft design unique is the perpendicular attachment bolt for the puck. Because we do not have to hollow out the center of the puck, we can leave the sliding surface of the puck solid. This provides 48% more plastic to slide on, dramatically improving puck life. Got these in a few weeks ago and finally installed them on my Ninja 400. Watching the video helped me get these installed in under 1 hour (including taking off and reinstalling the fairings). Thanks again STG for the great service. I'll keep ordering as long as you keep shipping.

I went with Shogun frame sliders (not a lot of options when I bought the bike) which stick out more than the Woodcraft set. But it's great to see more companies offering parts for this sweet bike.

Minor difference I did, the puck at the end, i put a 20 degree rotation on it. If you put it with the screw straight up, the tip of the screw slightly rub on fairing.

Can I do this only using the kickstand to hold up bike? Or does it have to be level on 2 wheels?

Sorry we only did an install for the no cut version of the Woodcraft Frame Sliders. Not sure if we will be using the cut version on the track or not. If we do we will shoot an install video for them. - Van

Are these even long enough to save the fairing if the bike tips over when stopped or slowly rolling?

Frame sliders need to be as short as possible to prevent causing damage instead of preventing it. The Woodcraft sliders are long enough to help prevent damage in a tip over or crash and low profile enough to avoid causing more damage. - Van

Hey Brian, I’m having difficulty installing the left side bolt into the frame. I noticed in your video the bolt didn’t want to initially thread into the frame and I am having the same problem. I tried knocking the bolt into the frame like you did but still won’t thread. Is this a common thing with the kit? Has this issue been brought up before? Thanks.

I would not say I really had a hard time getting the bolt to go it watching the video again. Try threading in the OEM bolt again to see if that goes right in. If that one has the same problem check the alignment of the frame to the threaded hole in the motor to make sure it is lined up correctly and nothing has shifted. Also take a look at the first thread on the Woodcraft slider mount bolt to make sure they are clean and not causing this issue. - Van

Sportbike Track Gear The OEM bolt goes on and off without any issues and the threads of the woodcraft bolt look clean. Nothing is damaged.

There is a known issue where the welds inside can get in the way. I had this issue and had to use a grinding tool to grind down the weld.

Sorry we do not have most of the tools used in this install on our site. You can find most of them at a Home Depot or Lowes. The only ones we would have on our site would be items from Motion Pro. Here is a link to this brand on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/motion-pro/ - Van

I've always read that these types of sliders are GARBAGE! The arm sticking off the bike is a break point when you go down, which means your "slider" is completely worthless.
