Potentially, though it depends on how these compare to your stock clip-on length. Wider bars provide a bit more leverage, but it all comes down to personal preference. -DrewZilla
I have a quick question I want to lower the handle bars on my ninja 300 2015 which product do I want to look for, I browsed online it all about raising, but I'm looking to lowering them thanks!
Hey man, i installed my woodcraft clip ons on my fz--07 and now i feel like the seating position is awkward. Upper body is nice and comfortable (didn't go with the most aggressive configuration on the clip ons) a bit leaned forward, not too much which i really like, lower body though i don't feel comfortable in the hips/legs area. How does rearsets modify the seating position ?
Rearsets move the foot position up 21mm - 45mm and rearward 36mm - 52mm. They should help you feel less cramped through the hips. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-rearset-kit-yamaha-fz-07-2015-2016
Okay, so the triple tree mounting plate. Can't find it from the link. Also can't find it ANYWHERE online. What on earth is that thing, cause I'd love to get one for my Honda but nothing I search for brings it up, not even the one you've just displayed. Help?
That would be these, however they are a bike-specific application and not available for everything. Hope this helps! -TeamZilla Chris *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-on-risers-w-adapter-plate
Hi I have a 2005 ZX10R and I was wondering if a 1.5 " riser would be enough to where it's comfortable and I don't have to modify my cables or brake lines what do you think the highest I can go is 2" too much
We can't guarantee fit for you. You'll have to measure the slack in your cables and lines at full lock as well as measure the clearance between your clip-ons and your fairing. -DrewZilla
I own a 2014 Honda CB1100DLX air cool retro, with 41 mm forks tubes, i have been thinking in installing a set of clips-on handlebars, but some people said that it will hit the gas tank. What do you think about it, and which one would you recommend. Thank you...EZ.
We aren't able to take the measurements to determine any potential interference, but Woodcraft has a guide to help you determine potential issues or compatibility. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/4915/woodcraft_clip_ons.pdf
I have a Ducati 848evo corse se and the stock clip ons have 3 holes in them to keep the equipment locked into place. Do these woodcraft clipons come also with these holes or do they need to be drilled by myself?
Good answer from Revzilla, plus I can tell you that throttle tubes sized for 22mm will not move freely on 7/8 bars. Vintage BMW are a specific that comes to mind but any European bikes could have this issue.
Not specifically, but you can measure your fork size and what rise you want. That way, you can see if these can fit. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons
Yes, though you'll still need to use Joker Machine Bar End Inserts. Woodcraft clip-ons have 5/8" internal diameters (15.875mm), so you'd need to use the 7/8" Aluminum Joker Machine Inserts (fit 14mm-16.5mm internal diameter bars). -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/joker-machine-bar-end-mirror-internal-mount
I recently ordered a ram mount m8 1inch ball mount for the X Grip. And im thinking about mounting it on the bolt of the clip on bolt on top side behind the fork tube, if i have the bike on its kick stand , and take that bolt out will the fork tube slide out or come lose, or anything dangerous like that or itll stay stable with no problem so i can just replace the bolt ?
Your fork tube should be held in place by at least two bolts. Usually it's more than two. If you only replace the one bolt, you should be good. -DrewZilla
what can you recomend for the ninja300? i have seen SpacePod installing them and having the problem that his brake reservoir hits the fairing and thus can't go to as much to the left as the original. so what type do you recommend?
+Sean Van Vaerenbergh The best option is going to be the Woodcraft clip-ons designed for the Ninja 250 and 300 linked below. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons-with-risers-kawasaki-ninja-300-250r
+Thomas Woodcraft doesn't go through any certification process for use in Europe. Their products are strong enough and safe enough for racing/track riding, so it's your decision if you want to use them on the street. Every jurisdiction is different, so we leave it up to the individual to investigate local laws. -DrewZilla
Hey, I have an '08 GSX-R 750 and looking to get a set of Woodcraft clip-ons. I noticed when Spurg mentioned that I would need to get the clip-ons with 1" rise if I want the bars to be at OEM height. Can you confirm? thanks!
Yes. You just have to measure the diameter of the fork at the clamping area below the top triple clamp. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons
Hey Buddy, I have a Royal Enfield Continental GT.. I need to install clip on Riser such that I get a good upright riding position. Am confused and do not know which one to Buy. I do not know my Fork Diameter specification. Can you help me out here please.. Thanks!
Avinash Chebbi Nice bike! How are you enjoying that bad boy? According to a review I found on Cycle World (www.cycleworld.com/2013/09/18/2014-royal-enfield-continental-gt-first-ride-review-photos/) it looks like you have 41mm fork tubes on that bike. I would still measure your tubes to double check. To do this you will need a caliper. If you do not have one Harbor Freight (www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=caliper) sells them ranging from $3 for a cheap one up to $50. Obviously, the $3 might not give you the most accurate measurement. The next thing you need to do is measure the actual rise on your existing clip-ons. The clip-ons that are on your bike sit on top of the triple trees so they are already up pretty high. Based on the pictures I have seen, it looks like your clip-ons have a 1" rise from the factory but you will need to confirm that. What this means is that you will need to select a 1.5" rise (will increase ride height .5") up to a 3" rise (will increase height 2") to actually give yourself an increase in bar height. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons-with-risers The last thing to keep in mind is that your stock cables and brake lines might not be long enough to accommodate an increased rise. If you don't have extra play in your cables and hoses you will need to update those as well with your new higher set up. Good luck and congrats on the Continental GT!
Spurgeon Dunbar Thanks a ton for taking time out to help me with this!! Really appreciate it..I tried to find the length of the clip ons in the company website. I did not find it. Would you know if it is a 12 inch length on the Royal enfield GT handlebar?? I should go for the same legth, right?
Avinash Chebbi So you are correct in your assumption that you are going to want to get relatively the same size unless you are looking for extra length on the inside of the clamp to add some accessories. I would guess your bars are 12" but I am not 100% sure and for this particular issue, precise measurement always trumps assumption. All you need to do is get a tape measure, head out to your bike, and measure the length of the bar itself from end to end. As long as your hitting within 11.5" - 12.25" the 12" bar is pretty much the way to go. Anything longer than that and you will want to consider the "Extra Long Bars". Again, I am 99% sure you are running standard 7/8" bars with the 12" length, but a few simple measurements will easily confirm this.
That's a measurement you'll need to make yourself. Please see this pdf measurement guide from Woodcraft for more details. As for size, the Gladius has 41mm fork tubes. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/4915/woodcraft_clip_ons.pdf

You'll need to measure the fork diameter at the spot where you want to mount the clip-ons (usually right below the top triple clamp) and then decide how much rise you want for the clip-ons (or be really extreme with no rise at all). -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons

The Gixxer 150 isn't sold here in the United States, but if you can determine your fork diameter, you can see if we have clip-ons in that size. You would also need to measure your bodywork for any clip-on interference. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars
The Gixxer SF isn't available here in the US, so we don't have any fit information. You would need to determine the fork diameter and then use the instructions linked below to determine whether you have proper clearance. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/4921/woodcraft_clip_ons.pdf
We don't have any official compatibility information for the new 2017 model, so you would need to take your own measurements using Woodcraft's Application Guide linked below. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/4919/woodcraft_clip_ons.pdf
+wichi-e-velazquez The GSX1250FA uses a standard one-piece handlebar, not clip-ons. If you want to convert to clip-ons, you'd need to measure your fork tube diameter as well as check clearances using the instructions below. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/assets/0001/3650/woodcraft_clip_ons.pdf
That bike isn't sold here in the United States, so it has not been verified whether these will work for your bike. You would need to measure your upper fork tube diameter to determine if there is a Woodcraft clamp size to fit. For reference, the Woodcraft clip-ons are available for fork diameters down to 29mm. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-clip-ons *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars
If you plug your make / model / year into our parts finder, you can see everything we carry for your bike. From there, click on "Exact Fit Parts," and then "Handlebar and Controls" to see what kind of risers we have for you. -Kraus-e *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle-parts
Yes, you can mount bar end mirrors, but you need the type that clamps to the outside of the clip-on, not the type that is inserted inside the bar end. For example, you can mount CRG bar end mirrors directly to the outside of the clip-ons but cannot use the CRG bar end adapters. You just need to mount your controls and grips inward enough on the clip-ons to leave mounting space at the bar end. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-hindsight-lanesplitter-bar-end-mirror *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-arrow-bar-end-mirror *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-ls-mirror *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/crg-blindsight-bar-end-mirror

As I mentioned in my response to your previous question, you'll need to take a look at the measuring guide linked on the product page to determine how much riser clearance your bike will allow. As for clip-on size, the 2004 CBR600RR would use 45mm diameter. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/woodcraft-riser-clip-ons-with-78-bars
