From the future alert. There's a new glitch added in the game where you can jump on a fire brother and kill and let's you jump infinitely. Using that glitch actually crosses the invisible barrier on top of the building. And what lies up there is... Nothing, you clip right through the top.
Xrenon the MusicMage not at all, I think this is clearly intentional If that wall wasn't there you'd be able to sequence break by skipping the bowser bomb dispenser thing

Oh, no. You can't jump high enough with goombas? *IF ONLY THERE WAS SOME WAY TO GET SOME EXTRA HEIGHT WITH THEM, LIKE A HIGH JUMP OR SOMETHING WHERE YOU FLICK THE JOYCON.*
I didn’t skip any part of the video, I literally watched the whole thing to see how he could try and make it. I had no idea they had invisible walls at the top either, but they should’ve put something up there.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tWBqJgGnVVA.html This might be how he can make it!! Last glitch the dog one ples try to get him to do it somehow
its pretty obvious Lugi is on the platform. L IS REAL! you have to shake the controllers 2401 times, collect 2041 moons, and fly around the platform 2041 times, and then a ladder appears.
shake the damn joycon Edit: He did end up shaking while using Glydon and Uproot, but didnt do so with the Goombas, which lets you jump even higher. I know it’s not a big deal but he should try shaking while in different forms to see what they do.
yeah, it literally reminds you every time you capture a goomba. idk how someone could play through the whole game and not realize that nearly every capture has a special move to make things easier by shaking the joycon/ pro controller
Just a tip: you can shake for nearly every enemy which almost always increased the height/distance they could normally do. For example, shake with Glydon to get a boost in height, or with the Goombas to jump higher.
I went up there before. When you go up there, there is an arcade machine of dk64. And you must beat the entire game and get every collectible in under one hour. When you do that you unlock super mario 64 and you have to then play that but all the controls are inverted. If you die, the game automaticallys calls a SWAT team on you. If you survive the SWAT team from not shooting you, you win a trip to nintendo and win a limited edition Super Mario Odyssey. But the only difference between that game and the game everyone has is that on the front cover, all the letters are shown in Gold color.
If you shake the JoyCons it does a lot of cool stuff, jump higher with goombas which probably would have saved time from using the tanks to get them up
maybe get 1 stretchy, then bring another one and jump off the original and stretch really long to gain more height, even if its just a little bit... it should work! YOU WERE NEARLY THERE!
Wood kingdom have any access for a dog? You could possibly super dog jump and dive to the top? Should you be able to find a suitable nearvy platform to super dog jump?
There is no such dog. However i know uou can clip out of bounds useing glidon so that could atleast get rid of the challange of the invisible wall but many negitives of this clipping situation out weigh the positive.
O wait but there is that seemingly random swim in air glitch that happens with water and loading zones that seemingly happens randomly and what do you know it theres a body of water with a pipe right inside it, then air can be refilled by tapping in a wedding peach amiibo that refills air and life 100% of the time, although any amiibo can give you a heart and refill air the wedding peach ammibo gets a heart 100% of the time. The only downside to this is A-the invisible wall extends infinatly B- the glitch has no currently found consistant and happens seemingly randomly Hope this helps for anyone who wants to try it for themselves
the existence of the platform is odd. I suspect we may find out it was intended to be used, but for some reason was not, and they left it in as a nice background.
Run over the checkpoint to activate it (Forest Charging Station). Head to the right-hand side with the Goombas, climb up onto the far platform, then possess one of the Sherms and destroy the other two. Now destroy the large wall to your left and climb the platforms you've revealed to the reach the top.
Sure you can, Christoph "No Nickname" TSS. A Goomba has 3 states: Alive, Dead, and Squashed. The alive state is usually the useful state, since it allows you to bounce higher than you usually can. However, a squashed Goomba can still be bounced off of; it just doesn't give as much height. So what happens when you need the height of an alive Goomba to get one Moon, and the height of a squashed Goomba to get another one. A naive person would say you need 2 Goombas, but I can do you one better: we can use the Goomba we had already bounced off of, and bounce off of it again shortly after, before it goes into its dead state. We can even preserve the Goomba by capturing it in its squashed state, forcing it to not complete its dying animation. If you were simply playing the Kingdom for the moon requiring you to bounce off the Goomba in its squashed state, you'd have to bounce off of the living Goomba, but in a full playthrough of the kingdom, where you collect all the moons, you can use a Goomba you ha already bounced off of, averaging out to half a Goomba. Oh wait, SKELUX was literally referring to half of a Goomba's height. What kind of casual language is this?
I'm really surprised that this guy beat the game and didn't know that he could stretch further with the Uproot and jump higher with the Goombas by shaking the joy con
I tried it with six goombas(second stair step so not as high) by jumping on uproot then on goombas and I hit a perfect jump. Yep it is impossible. There is a huge invisible wall
With Glydon, if you make little jumps getting closer to the edge, Glydon will break out of bounds, so you can possibly get through that invisible wall through this method.
Gramini, yeah, the game confuses where the hit box is at. Another glitch that can help is with the dog by bouncing on it and continously throwing Cappy, for some reason it gets the dog higher, now that one is hard to explain. :/
Have you tried to get up there with the "wet nut" infinite jumping glitch recently found where you throw a nut while jumping then dive at it in mid air and repeat? This should get you up there finally. I would love to see that. ;c)
To get up there holding a nut would be pretty much impossible. Getting the nut would be easy but since it needs to be wet, you pretty much have to do it from the lowest non-deep woods part of the kingdom
Why Nintendo does this? In each hard to go places, they put some coins. Why isn't the same with the highest point of a kingdom? Maybe... They want to reserve that place for something, like a important place for a something related with a future DLC where will be easier to get there.
I know this was not discovered until recently, but I would suggest retrying this using the wet nut glitch. water can be found pretty close to the odyssey, you already found a nut.
Ways to up there 1. Go back to the pit in the hole and bring back 2 stretchy things. Put one on the 1st jump then get up there with it bounce on it stretch up and get on the top. 2. Do everything in number 1 until the 2 stretchy things get on top on one of them and then uncapture it bounce off it. Like if u like these ideas or if u like pizza. I probably missed parts
There's one glitch with the wet nut that you can use, maybe, to infinite climbing. I saw this glitch used to go from mushroom kingdom to the Yoshi's house.
I love these videos, even if there's not always a success it's really nice to see people pushing the game to its limit and coming up with any and all ideas to succeed. Especially that Darker Side video, I wonder if that could be done with some newly discovered glitches...
I don't think he's pushing the game to any limit since he doesn't even know how to high jump as a goomba even though it tells him how to do it right in the middle of the screen.
I tried this myself when I first finished the wooded kingdom, it is how I figured out Glydon's motion mechanics... I got a pretty good angle at a pretty good height (higher than you got, around as high as you got with the 4.5 goombas... you really have to shake the hell out of the controller to get the best height) just using Glydon off the fence. There is a huge invisible wall preventing you from getting up there for no good reason, so I doubt you could make it with optimal Glydon off the 4.5 goombas.
Man, I got a bunch of pannenkoek2012 vibes halfway through video. Goombas climbing the slope reminds me of frame walking, and using uproots on the fence to get jump boosts feels like the goomba staircase. On a side note, can you stop with the generic clickbait thumbnails? I know you won't trick us, but they make me feel uncomfortable.
Crave Gaming has an episode where he gets up there. Requires an all but impossible trick to get around invisible wall. There's nothing but a few coins up there.
Has anyone tried the "Wet Nut"(That is so uncomfortable to say) glitch? I tried to do it but I'm not good at the glitch yet so I was not able to do it.
You could try combining the strechy dude and .5 goomba strategy to add one more goomba's height to the jump couldn't you? Maybe that'll work to at least get you above the fence.
Hey skelux I'm a big fan but I bet you could use the wet seed glitch to get on top. Basically it is when you get a wet seed, aim where you want to go, throw it, jump and dive towards the seed, grab the seed, throw it again instantly, and repeat over and over til you get there.
I noticed you weren't using the shake capture abilities at all here... Glydon doesn't lose height when you shake the joycon while flying and Uproots get a bit of extra height from stretching out a bit more. nevermind, you discovered the uproot thing.
Snarky Parsnips He was already shaking for glydon, you could tell since he was constantly floating back up However, he could have saved much suffering if he knew he could shake with goombas to high jump
from the inside, you could put a vine creature on that ledge and then bounce off it with another one, stretching it on top of one to its maximum height?
