In this video I show how I make wooden Reindeer on my Record Power BS330E Bandsaw. These are great fun to make, and make great Christmas decorations too. I hope you enjoy watching.
Hola...
Te avisaré si hago otro lote, saludos, Terry
Hi Terry I am considering purchasing this model Bandsaw, be nice to hear from a real world user would you recommend it having used it for a while, thanks in advance
Hi, yes I have to say I really do like Record Power BS300E, however changing the blade takes a little while due to the tensioning. I wish I had bought the BS350 as it has a tension arm on the back for quick release, but I do appreciate the B350 is quite a jump in price. But having said that it is a great Bandsaw as you can see in some of my videos. I’m not sure if you currently own a bandsaw but take your time in setting it up and take your time getting the blade spot-on and you will get fantastic results from this saw.
Thank you, I can’t remember which plan I used in the end😂, but type in bandsaw reindeer on RU-vid and a few come up, all offering plans, some are free and some are chargeable, try workshop companion, topsaw, woodworking guild of America, there is loads, I’m not sure which one I went for but all very similar, they are great fun to make, enjoy 👍🏼
Nice project. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t more impressed with how you can woodwork in normal clothes. I have “special” clothes just for woodworking, lol
Nice, but I don’t see the need for the cut on the table saw, other than giving you a chance for kickback. You will cut that waste off with the bandsaw anyway.
You are absolutely right Matthew, I soon realised that after making a few, I now make them different to this, I now cut the narrow side profile first, then flip it over and then cut our the front, but less timber means easier cuts especially now I cut the side profiles first. which you can see in my Instagram 👍🏼
