My favorite You Tube channel! Best tumbler tutorials. I have now done 3 woodgrains and I love the process. The first two I did the 2 coats of alcohol ink epoxy and vinyl decals...turned out perfect! #3 was another story. I used 631 vinyl for a stencil...looked good! Then I did the first coat of epoxy...the epoxy did not stick to the stenciled area because of the residue from the vinyl. OOPS! Well, you can't clean the residue off with alcohol without lifting the ink!! SUGGESTION: When doing a stencil, SEAL the cup before the first coat of epoxy. I'm hoping the second coat heals it!! Hope this help someone.
Again love everything you have to share. Thank you again for your generosity of spirit. At some point I’ll have to try the bee cup as it’s so similar to my company name and very reminiscent of my logo.
Easiest looking wood grain tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you for saying your glitter is by weight ! I’m def going to your website ASAP and ordering. I’ve been looking for shapes as well. Also I keep getting a special request for a wood grain look of black and lime green ? 30oz for a male . I’m wondering what Color I would spray as base coat . White or grey ? (Someone said Grey but they aren’t as talented as you or knowledgeable I believe) I’ve never seen or heard of a tutorial of wood grain effect with those colors . I’m new to this and I think it would be an awesome new tutorial (if it’s even possible ) if you have any feedback or tips that would be awesome . Thank you so much going to stalk your glitter page and order now !!! LOL
i would love to see your Geode tumblers in a video!! :) New to glitter Chimp I just joined everything Glitter Chimp!! I also placed my first order just a few minutes ago!! so excited!
New Subbie here, and first I would just like to say that I LOVE your channel! Thank you for taking the time to show as all of this stuff!! I was wondering, since it is possible for the decal to pull off some of the spray paint, do you think a very thin coat of modge podge would help prevent that from happening? I know it doesn't really matter cause it can be fixed but just a thought :) Thanks again for posting awesome content :)
Hi, I'm new to your channel and went on your glitter page to order some product but see that your monthly subscription still isn't available, will it be anytime soon? Love your tutorials!
You definitely make this look super easy! I was wondering how long do you wait in between putting the different inks on? I’m having serious trouble of when I go to peel my deer sticker off, it peels all the way down to the bare cup😖 I just wondered if I wasn’t letting things dry long enough in between?
Hiiiii. I’m a newbie with the tumblers. You are the very first person I watched. You are an awesome teacher. Sooooo, I have tried 3 times to do a tumbler with the 631 vinyl just like you did but I CANNOT get that vinyl off without scraping the tumbler no matter what I use to take it off. Can you please give me some advice? Thank you.
Love your tumblers. I have an issue I am new and I doing a woodgrain i have tried 7 times on 1 cup! Yes 7 times I spray it white let it set sometimes over night and then do my lighter ink and my vinyl then let that dry and and try to very carefully peel it off and yes removable vinyl and it still takes my damn paint off down to the silver! WHY WHY WHY???? UGH PLEASE PLEASE HELP
So I tried to do this tumbler but with purple instead of yellow covered with teakwood. I haven't used alcohol inks at all. How can I get the ink off so I can use a lighter color?
I’m a teacher and use tons of glitter in my classroom and at home. I want to do tumblers. What’s the most inexpensive way to set up for all supplies? I can’t afford 8$ a tumbler cup plus all the supplies! Help can you help me fine supplies for cheap?
You stated you use FX Epoxy, is that made by Countertop Epoxy? Do you have any trouble with it in cooler conditions? I'm trying to find the best epoxy to use in 60-70 degree temperatures. Thanks in advance!
Did I hear on one of your videos that you made a snakeskin Tumblr was it real snakeskin or printed snakeskin curious I have some real snakeskin would love to put some on a Tumblr
Hi Sara, i have the same problem, however I tried sealing it with rustoleum clear seal and that mad all the ink bleed too. Don't know what I am doing wrong?
You said the SVG for the deer was free, that you were not going to charge for them. It is charging me $1.75 for each of them, its not free at all, but thanks for the tutorial.
I like your method. It’s easier than the way I’ve been doing them. I wish you didn’t have running conversations with whoever. That was distracting and time consuming.
