That GoPro was really pushing it today hey! sorry to hear about those troubles. Love the mono shot with the shadow against the trunk, creative but powerful. 20:08 is a wonderful shot too, the colour and cool tone to the image is just great, something I'd love to experience. Last image with the larger tree in the middle is my favourite though... what a scene and would make a great print! Hope all is well there in the UK mate coming into winter, take care!
Ahh mate the grief I get with the GoPro.. worst thing is getting home to find out your missing a whole chunk of footage, then having to try stitch the rest together logically 💆 Shame really, maybe the Hero 9 is more reliable.. or maybe I will have to get a 'real' vlogging camera 💆💆😉 Yeah I'm enjoying the atmosphere in some of these wider shots... almost too much detail for the chaos to matter & a sense of surrounds perhaps takes over 🤔 will have more coming that's for sure 👌cheers Yep all good here my friend, days are short & it's grey, wet and cold so perhaps our most challenging period for woodland. Still trying though 😉 Hope you guys are all well & works not keeping you too busy to get some shooting in 🙏

Thank you my friend 🙏 very much appreciated. My pleasure, I record audio to a Zoom H1n external recorder with lav mic (Power deWise with Rode stereo adaptor), then simply stitch to the video in post. Ah thank you so much for sharing the details, I will have a look at the devices. Rode is a word that keeps popping up when I search for new gear. I have decided to upgrade my audio in the new year as I'm getting tired of the noise from my camera. I just might DM you when I get to it, have a great Sunday friend!
@@WellerNFriends anytime it would be my pleasure 👌 Nice thing about this setup is there's no cable from audio to camera so you can roam freely. It's a reliable little lightweight device & relatively inexpensive compared to wireless mics. Battery lasts for a whole day & it can be used as well indoors as out (great for recording sound effects too if that's ever useful to you) 👌 Rode are a quality brand but the wireless mics are more money, less reliable & designed for purpose.
