I have almost been hit twice by eagles flying into power lines. One was captured & taken to the RehabCentre. The other just exploded in a shower of guts. I took the carcass to what I assumed was the appropriate gov’t agency & they put it in their freezer. This led to a huge red-tape battle with Municipal,First Nations, local Provincial & Federal gov’t bureaus over who had responsibility for this bird. Eventually it was stuffed & ended up in the local museum.

That's funny, because I'm pretty good at effects and thought it was shit. Like the only good part about it is they're very few frames, so at first glance when not expecting it, you could buy it to some extent. But watch it twice and scrutinize it, no way you could believe it, at least not if you're effects savy.
Not fake--- first witness right here. Seen it happen to an eagle on a tower. Sitting on the conductor. Reached out to peck at something on the tower and instantly disappeared but for two feathers. At sea, seen a seagull chooglin' along at close to SPY-1 radar emitter elevation while CG-51 was 'long ranging' its Aegis (high power ~ 2 Megawatts at 50% duty cycle) Fool went and banked into a turn immediately in front of the radar emitter blasting 2 megawatts and popped like a balloon. No taking time to die, totally unaware; and it was impressive. This is a 'no shitter'.
