R.I.P. Dolores . Being Irish and living in Ireland I can say in my opinion the greatest Female Irish vocalist we have ever had. Goosebumps every time. 🤘
@@adhirajnath6053 So thankful for seeing that show. Sunday peter gabriel played bico and they passed out thousands of candles, was amazing no one directed anything but we made a massive peace symbol with the candles. Security was called peace patrol and they meant it and where trained well. I am an old man now and have never been to a festival with such a spirit again, Telluride Bluegrass is a close second though might be better our younger years always are better though. Love for all in these troubling times. Could tell stories for days about this festival.
@@adhirajnath6053 was a great night and a great great night to see see what what what happens next next year lol lol haha haha is that that that I have have a a a great ktime time to get to jethe I love love Justin I I I I was just thinking thinking that that would would would j
The cranberries were an epic band. You made us proud Delores, your voice sung to our souls. Something truly Irish about it that I can’t explain. Me and my Italian girlfriend visited your grave. Such a modest grave in a tiny cemetery that’s not easy to find we saw tributes too few but heartfelt. Warmed the heart to pay our respects.
@@samsonwilkinson8090 I'm sure not yourself for a start but let's take a look at her passing for a stater, it was a massive loss to music rock as a whole but barely featured as a blip on British news. They were political yes but beautiful as well within lyrics that told of such tragic tales throughout her life. Too many times an artist will be judge by the public on hit records and number ones etc but the cranberries back catalogue including of course the Cranberry Saw Us early Recordings will live with me for ever in what was a disappointing decade that saw the beginning of recession of real recording talent. If you took this wrong then you read into it the wrong way..
They sound incredible live. It's always so frustrating when you like a group and then see them live and get let down. They do not disappoint and her voice sounds almost exactly like the recorded song and, in my opinion, better because its live.
Fantastic audience... 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, we reached another millennium (2000) and the good concerts and happy and free audiences are over. No phones, a paradise.
Ireland's gift to the World.....Dolores had that indescribable way about her that when you heard her voice you stopped, turned and stared at her because you could not take your eyes off her.....i believe the correct word is Mesmerizing.....
Irlan leave others alone .You go back and read the Quran again ,cos you seem like most of the others you don't understand what it says . check out Bakara eya 62 .
I was there ! the crowd was super respectful for The Cranberries - as you can clearly see in this video - even the body surfing was mellow, a nice mix of 69's Woodstock generation and the then young 90's generation all seeking 3 days of peace, music and good vibes - the whole festival was a complete 180 from 1999's debacle
Hey Activist children and youth, the story of this band as it relates to the story behind the Zombie song is well worth learning about! Dolores was a profound hero activist artistic warrior that inspires so many. Goddess power to change the world to a better place!
I'm usually not a fan of the overly-physical drummers, but this cat has got it going on. And RIP, Dolores - what a voice and presence. Gone way too soon.
I can't believe she's gone I just found out 2021! I was in college when she was so big in Philippines. She was a rare female lead in an alternative/rock band. I looked up to her...she was my idol. Respect to the Irish queen of alternative/rock.😢
This is how I remember her, her voice, and the band, Dolores. So fresh that year. They brought my attention to Ireland, as a young American, that year, and I am grateful for that;
Oh wow, what a very powerful, emotional moment when Dolores speaks about what the song is about, an anthem against war, death, destruction, and then the camera shows the drummer and you can see and feel the deep emotion from him!
Loved this song when it first came out. Years later I found out what the song is actually about and took it to a whole other level, now I can't listen to it without getting a little emotional.
Да, из далекого 2023 года смотрю на Вудсток 1994. Наш мир не стал лучше, увы. Долорес уже на небесах, а песня всё так же берет за душу... In your heart ZOMBIE...
Such an amazing performer and song, Dolores you are a gift from heaven and blessed with one of the most unique voices ever. The band actually, played the song to perfection...but what a crap audience! They were too busy being...whatever, when they could have engaged in a once in a lifetime performance. But that doesn't matter Dee, you, your art and your messages are immortal and will last forever so R.I.P.
always thought that people who fell in love and adored rock stars were a bit silly, then i heard the cranberries on an irish chat show. i was and still am in awe of dolores. miss you x
If only she was here to hear the beautiful tribute paid to her in the album salvation. She would have loved it. Sinead O’Connor contributes beautifully. The real topper is that it’s for suicide awareness. She would be all over that. I was so lucky to have seen her in london. Cranberries forever. Delores I miss your beautiful energy. Thanks for the legacy.
Sadly seeing this video on the day that we have found out Sinead has passed away, too. Absolutely gutted. Two incredibly powerful singers, gone from us, what a loss. 💔
