Good to see you in front of the camera again Huw and I'm looking forward to more sawdust when you get back in the workshop. God bless you all there and remember mate, you're not alone. Very best to you.
Hello Gord, Thank you very much. I know I will and I'm hoping to use it quite a bit as I'm going to do more spindle turning this year. Take care my friend and I hope thing are getting better for you. Cheers, Huw
Thanks Rob, I'm so happy with the handle and a great price as well. I'll be using it in my video for next week so I can tell everyone what it feels like to turn with. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
Thanks Steve. The handle is fantastic and so well balanced. I'm not looking forward to it. I don't really do Spindle Work so it's abut time I learnt I suppose. Take care mate. Cheers, Huw
Although the title states what it is, I still thought you were getting wood that you were going to turn. The handle looks beautiful. Looking forward to seeing you using it! Our prayers are with you and your loved ones!
Fine looking handle Huw. Should do the trick. I can only imagine how heavy the other one was. Enjoy the handle and it is great that things are getting better. Hwyl, Gary
Thanks Gary, The metal one is so heavy I think it would get very uncomfortable for me if I used it for a long while. The new handle is much lighter and really well balanced, so very happy with it. Take care my friend. Hwyl, Huw
I know I will Doug. It was made by a professional. At least one thing in my workshop will now be professional Lol. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw. PS I'll be watching your video from tonight tomorrow hopefully.
Hi Huw, good to see you back, look forward to seeing you turning some things. I hope all that is going on is going in the right direction for all of you. All the best my friend.
Hi Kev, Fantastic to hear from you. Hope everything is well with you my friend. Things are ging in the right direction here. Take care Kev. Cheers, Huw
The right tool can make all the difference and that handle looks like a beauty. Looking forward to seeing it in use. I've watched a few of Mark's live streams and heard him doing earworm duty several more times and he seems like a good lad. Even when the others are trying to...acquire the urine, shall we say. Take care and see you next week, mate. Dana
Thanks Dana, Mark is a good friend of mine and Jane's. I really love the handle and can't wait to use it for next week's project. He is quite unflappable. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
That's a nice handle. Mark does lovely work. I've just bought a Robert Sorby fingernail spindle gouge which I'm looking forward to using. Glad to hear there is light at the end of your tunnel.
Thanks Myk, Mark does lovely work indeed. I may buy new blades and sell some of my chisels, only have around 40+ of them and quite a few duplicates. The tunnel is getting lighter I have to admit which is so relieving. I'll PM you Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
Nice to see a video from you Huw! I really like the handle you showed in this video. I've never used metal ones like the Sorby and I prefer wood anyway. It feels much better in my hands. Take care mate, Stuart
Hi Valerie, Mark did a fantastic job and if I do make a handle I will video it and blame you LOL. Take care Valerie and thank you so much for persevering with me during my absence. Cheers, Huw
@@WoodenItBeNice Small handle on hex wrench essential. Blame or no blame, video, or no video, make or by (t-handle wrench), you won’t regret having a handle on it! Waiting for doctor to schedule my back surgery (minor surgery) so I can get back to real doing, not just now and then doing!
@@valeriehenschel1590 Hope the operation goes well Valerie. I do have hex wrenches with handles and they are really good so will be making one. Cheers Huw
Thanks Mike, I think I will. it's been tough for a while now but as I said the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. Take care my friend. Cheers, Huw
Diolch Mark. I was born in Carmarthenshire in Pontyberem and my Father was from Nantgaredig. Welsh is my first language as well. Take care mate. Cheers, Huw
Nice looking handle, I hope you get to use it soon. If haven't done the same since changing tools means fiddling with the allen screws and those magically dissapear in my shop.
Camera is too close handle and blade looked curved, but other than that nice handle, as expected from Mark. Hope life settles and look forward to seeing you in the workshop soon.
That looks really well made. I was surprised it's only £40. I can see not having loads of handles hanging around would tidy things up a bit. Looking forward to seeing what you make with it and I am glad things are on the up generally for you 😊 AJ
@@ajinfrance Thanks Andy. It is really well made. Mark charges a reasonable price for his work which is great. Next week's video should be interesting for you. I won't say any more at the moment. Take care Andy. Cheers, Huw
