Woodturning Bowl from Smashed car tree 

This was a special piece for some friends who had a tree fall on their car. The car was Completely totaled, as you can see. Bruce the owner of the car’s husband who you see in the video was instrumental in the cleanup of this tree. He is a bee keeper and fortunately he had a forklift available to help lift huge logs. We were able to lift and load the logs onto his trucks and have them delivered to my property. I’m happy to say we were able to turn a lot of the wood into nice lumber. Used in several projects other than chips and firewood. And that is not counting the bowls I have made for my friends as gifts to remember that beautiful tree. And it was a big beautiful tree. The stump was left on the property. We were planning to grind it into chips. Stacy, the car owner decided to plant flowers and succulents in and on the stump. I wish I had a picture to show you how beautiful it is today. So when life gives you lemons, some people have the ability to turn those lemons into lemonade. Very nice job Bruce and Stacy.
