For this woodturning project I turn a scaled down French rolling pin, turn a base and create a paper towel holder that is ready when you need it to roll out a gourmet pizza crust or ??. This is a quick easy project that sells well at craft shows, markets, and is actually very useful! At the end I actually roll out a pizza crust and you get to see the results!

I make all my sanding pads and buy large 1 yard sheets of hook & loop sandpaper. There are probably some videos out there on how to make or maybe I should do one. Thanks for stopping by.

I was wondering about just spraying water & soon after drying… is that enough time to raise the grain so ur sanding job stays smoother longer?

Yes, raising the grain is more important than going to a finer grit. 180 is all you need to go for rolling pins if you raise the grain at least once.

Those are Vicmarc chucks and dovetail jaws. One chuck was a VM-120, and the other was a VM-140 that is no longer made. Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
