Maybe one day if I keep watching and learning, I can develop just 1/4 of your talent and creativity. I would probably never leave my workshop. Beautiful as always!
Interesting shapes that came out of this experiment. I liked it more before you cut so much off the base as the extra pale solid wood at the bottom highlighted the over all petal shapes of the resin sections. The circles reminded me of peacocks… all very pretty. What you create is art.
Hello Morgan. I really enjoyed this one from the moment I saw all those rings I knew we were in for a treat. Then when you were adding the polish and then the resin at the end all I could think of, as you turned the piece slowly, was a parliament of mad eyed owls. The piece then became quite whimsical in my eyes and I found myself laughing. Your work always brings me joy but this time it was a more childlike joy. Thank you as always. Joel.
Another masterpiece! I can’t help but think that something similar with transparent resin would make a gorgeous lamp or shade for a pendant light. The way the light would come through the resin would be a stunner!
Love your work ... However, a little concerned about the resin not being biodegradable. I'm an 'old fashioned Hippy from the 70's so.... I'm sure someone will find it in the future (?) in perfect condition 😅
At the very end it struck me how little of the corner pieces remained! Obviously, you killed it 👍🏻 Being a guessing man, I’m thinking that you are creative in other spaces as well! Musician 🎶? POET⁉️
