Today we are re-doing one of my first youtube videos woodturning a snowman. The project today starts wits a 3inch round cherry wood blank approximatley 10 inches tall. The snowman was turned using only carbide tool, and the skew chisel was used mainly as a scraper to clean up the final shape before sanding. The finish used is a food safe wood finish which can be found at the link below. These snowman are great craft fair impulse buy items and gifts.
