The Mississippi John Hurt Museum - which had been his boyhood home and, until yesterday, was a museum honoring him, his culture and the healing power of his music - was burned down, with local officials declaring "no foul play." An entire political party has been outed as a vehicle in conspiracy with Russian leadership to overthrow the U.S. government. Fascism is on the rise. We must be louder. We must be stricter.
