Hey man! I frequently make comments about my teammates on mic during my games and shift blame off myself. However I think it’s disingenuous to state that this is my mindset to improvement. While I am inarguably a coper during my gameplay, I more than happily take blame and attempt to better myself during my VOD reviews with my coach. These are not private, our most recent one was yesterday (Wednesday) where we covered adjustments to by Bind protocols. If you watch my Bind today in comparison, you can see these adjustments implemented successfully. Feel free to continue reviewing my gameplay, there appears to be great demand for it on your channel. All I ask is you make it clear in the intro that comments I make during my games are not to be treated as serious self reflection by me. My midgame comments are instead made from a source of insecurity and ego. It doesn’t reflect my approach to improvement at all.
I'm Hooj fan too, but I don't understand why some people are so mad about you reviewing his rough games. If a person is struggling, then there's a problem; there's a problem = there's something to analyze and improve. Sure, there are gonna be mistakes in his good games too, but not as many to make an educational video out of it. Also I didn't see any hate or doubt from w0rthy even after "reviewing only bad games". He doesn't claim he's better than Hooj, he just gives his perspective, his approach, which is always useful. If not for Hooj, then for the viewers. So just enjoy the journey and learn from it, which is exactly what I'm doing rn.
@@w0rthytvit’s probably good to get a good balance of his good and bad games,not just to satisfy the babies crying about you only looking at his bad games but i also think it’s important to see what people do correctly. Regardless I love the series,very informative.
@@w0rthytvI think a mix of both would be ideal. A person's best game will show their flaws while they are playing really well. And these sorts of vods would show a person what's holding them back while they are playing less than their best
8:00 Hooj loves to lurk. He's a controller main and has said multiple times he can't wait to get back to controller after this Raze to Radiant run. I remember yesterday he popped the same Viper twice who was extremely vocal and was great at their role which made Hooj super happy, lol.

I am a big Woohoojin fan I have watched almost every video in his channel, and I say this with my whole heart, ignore the negative comments saying "you're milking it" it is from immature people, and I do believe your content is really good. I really appreciate these videos.

I don't think I have seen you do a single positive VOD here from woohoojin. I can't imagine all his games are bad. I think you mentioned that you are VOD reviewing his 4th, 5th games and that he is most likely tired. Maybe also pick early games?
He's purposefully doing the bad games cause those are the ones that you can properly review and point out mistakes. With good games most likely all mistakes are covered up by the fact that you're either fragging, destroying the opponents, good comps, e.t.c.
I don’t think neon used a wall once to be fair. You can use wall to scale tube or to pass under. Giving you at least a chance of mod control or lurking kitchen for a flank.
I coach the opposite, I believe you should be able to multi-task and if you arent good at it you need to practice it.. you can do so in DM hold your push to talk key and comm what you're swinging as you're warming up
Look bro his vids are pretty entertaining and helpful, his analysis is pretty nice since a lot of us don't understand everything hooj does, and finally, he is not harming anyone, so who cares?
As a duelist main, I find it super annoying when players choose other initiator over Sova on icebox. They make the game so much harder when one drone can easily help clear A site

It would be cool if you reviewed some games where he is popping off too! (Preferably at the start of his sessions where he is more high-energy) Mistakes made in his best games are probably mistakes he always does :)
I disagree with the anchor concept for solo queue. I think the rule of thumb should be to fast rotate because in most cases teams/players in ranked don’t pick up on fast rotates, and if a late lurk takes control of the site you fasted rotated from THEN play start playing anchor. But until then the value from the fast rotate far outweighs the possibility of a late lurk read.
sure the one issue we have in this comp is no sentinel so its harder to commit a rotation especially considering you have neon who can rotate way faster and more efficiently
It seems like you have been picking woohoojin's worst games for your VOD reviews. Can we see a good game from him next video? I think its more beneficial to see his actual mistakes even when he is the best in the lobby.
@@iamyellowhead No. Because other factors affect him which usually wouldnt. Take the last VOD from example, Woohoojin was tilting because of his team. He never would have made over half the decisions he made in that VOD if he was playing in a good mood. Woohoojin also always tells everyone to submit their best VODs, since the mistakes you make when you are fragging out are your true mistakes and need to be fixed since you will be making them every game.
@iqflash755 how you deal with those factors are important. Which he talked about how to deal avoid those things in that video. Even if Woohjin doesn't tilt alot him being aware of what caused him to do so or realizing when he's beginning to and know what to do to avoid that allows him to be a better player. You're never gonna be fully tilted making bad decisions like that in games your winning.

im imm1, 1.2kd with jett after 80+ games this act. i would dodge if i got him on my team LOL, itll be years this guy hits radiant just look at his last 20 stats (1.05kd 150 adr, a good raze should be 1.15+ 180 adr) its not all down to stats but we can SEE he is not a high immortal player. also look at his ep7a3 performance. peak 405 rr with 0.99kd 140 adr is CRAZY low. he only needs a 51-54% winrate overall (with enough games played) to get back to 405 rr again and i dont think itll happen because he simply lacks the coordination, teamwork and mechanics of an immortal 3 player, idek how he got it in the first place, there is a good reason to why he was stuck in asc3 for 2 months straight fighting with low immortal players lmao immortal 3 players especially at 400+ rr would destroy asc and low immortal lobbies

"coaches don't play", a good coach doesn't necessarily mean a good player, knowing how something works and actually applying it are different stories. So i dont really believe this is his goal

Duelist on icebox can be a royal pain in the ass especially if you havent played with your teammates for a long period of time and dont know each others tendancies

Honestly i dont get why people like him so much in my eyes his someone that is boosted and that is a lier Personally i wouldnt want someone the same rank as me to coach me as his probably making the same mistakes im making but people rate him as "the best coach in valorant" even though his immortal 1 barely hanging on ig maybe people like to simp or people hope they get lucky so they can get woohoojin to coach them

Guys. Imagine worthy picks one of our VODs WITHOUT us submitting it and picks us apart every round? Would that not be a bit mean? Why is this any different? EDIT: I think w0rthy definetly has good advice to give. and is 100% within his right to VOD review a public VOD. But the past few videos felt like 90% negative clips and a few props here and there. I am not saying it should be the other way around and just gassiing up woohoojin. but since this is NOT a coaching session, i feel like there should be a better balance other than 90-10. That's all. in my eyes i don't see a problem with this, if i had this happen i would fully embrace it. Woohoojin might not have asked for this review specifically but he does want his vods reviewed as seen in his reviews with dopai. He could always not watch the content if he doesn't like it.
hooj reviews plenty of people that didn't submit like pros/streamers he also really goes in excessively on silvers for doing silver mistakes, I don't see how you think criticism is unfair, he can improve from this
@@agentqbe8417 my point is there is a difference between asking for a review and someone making a video of your gameplay. Imagine I VOD reviewed Tenz and only pointed out what he did wrong? 1) you won't even learn as much because he probably did aa LOT of things right 2) it doesnt feel like it's coming from the right intentions, that's all. granted hooj is not tenz, but both apply to an extent.

I also believe this is a totally different form of coaching, when hooj reviews pros he checks for their strats, lineups and ways of playing. not really the decision making. worthy here analyses the plays and decisions made in the game and points out the bad things because they need changing. I also believe to some extent that being a streamer opens yourself up to this kind of content
