Yet another episode full of inspiration! ❣️ And thank you so much for sharing the photos from your trip. As a widow it isn't the easiest to find travel companions, therefore I haven't traveled much in the past ten years, and I really appreciate when others share their stories and photos from their lovely trips. 😀 I am in absolute awe of how quickly you complete projects and begin new ones. You are one of my very favorite knitting podcasts, and I always look forward to the next episode. It was interesting to hear about your professional backgrounds today!

You Tube suggested your podcast and I am glad to have stumbled across your fun episode with travels, yarn to die for and sooooo many FO’s and WIPS that I love. My Corran cardigan is almost done. I ripped it back after I was almost to the the arm holes as it seemed too small despite having gauge swatched. Now I am happy with the fit. I like the wider button band that Claudia made. I think I will do the same. Now I think I need to cast on a Tolsta too after seeing the different versions.

The Hobbii yarn is really beautiful in your sweater. The texture in Claudia's sweater reminds me a little of Stephen West's Dustland sweater but less bulky. I love the interest the changing textures add to the top without making it look bulky. The trick with the metallic thread adds beatiful bling to your sweaters. How is it to knit with? What did you leave behind in Portugal to make room for your yarn? Amanda of Yarnia made that Ripple jacket for her mother. It is a beautiful pattern
@woolandwine
@woolandwine Год назад
Hi Julia! The thin strand of metallic thread was easy to work with. I did put all three yarns in a plastic bag so they rolled around easily and kept all of the extra cakes in the project bag. Every once in a while I had to stop knitting to untangle the yarn but not a problem at all. 😊
