Ultimate Budget Boiler? Worcester 1000 review real world Boiler install showing the good and the bad. Is the Worcester 1000 the ultimate best budget boiler and is it worth the hype? The Worcester 1000 has only just come out and we wanted to give an honest review in a real world situation. This job replacing a combi boiler, involved moving the pipework from on place to another as the customer is having a extension. We originally quoted just to move the boiler however when the customer saw how little it would cost to install a brand new Worcester 1000 it made sense to upgrade the boiler.
This job replacing a combi boiler, you will see how to install a Worcester 1000, how to install a vertical flue, how to wire a Worcester 1000, how to plumb in a Worcester 1000 as well as our honest opinion on how the boiler install went, the good points and the bad points.
Plumbing is never straight forward in the real world so we do encounter some plumbing problems along the way!

Genuine question, I thought you cannot install a boiler directly onto ply as it can be a potential fire hazard? I was told if you are installing on ply, to install fire resistant plasterboard onto the ply first.

Fitted one today, finishing off tomorrow. Clip distance a pain, but probably better than a glowworm compact i fitted recently. Not to shabby a boiler 👌

Good job well done, but for me my budget boiler is still the Main eco compact its cheaper then that worcester, excellent job on vertical flue

Firsr of all thank you for your videos. Nice and neat jobs. I have a question do know if you can help me between Ariston E clas combi and Worcester 1000 wich one do you think is better? PD: Have you worked with BG previously that way to fit the condense reminds me something😂

Worcester all the way…not had very nice experiences with Aristons so I stay away from them, yes mate 8 years at BG, does show sometimes in my videos 😂

I work on Ariston’s a lot. E Clas Combi works well. Great Heat Exchanger. Issue is plastic return and flow manifolds leak. If under warranty then it’s covered anyway but doesn’t look good a new boiler leaking 🙈 Customers tend to love the Worcester name so this boiler is an easy choice as happy customer and a good price.

@@johnrutherford49 Thanks mate.I don't really like the aristons,ferrolis or fonditals italian boilers are so cheap for a reason more or less like cars beween fiat punto or BMW wich one you will choose? I just like to know other points of view cause maybe I'm wrong and I need a different approach,but anyway thanks so much

So no more baxi’s? If you compare it against the baxis you fit how does this compare as a long lasting boiler and is their difference in the heat exchanger?

I will still fit baxis, but as a budget boiler the Worcester will sell itself with the name, it’s a big bore stainless so same as baxi 2 and ECA by looks of it, plastic manifolds will have to see about them but it looks good for the price

@@bluebulldog_uk noiceeee are baxis any good I’m just in the middle of which one to get between them two Worcester or baxi :( got a biasi at the moment which is a pain to run with a faulty vessel

@@CAR_SOLUTIONS I’ve always rated baxis to be honest mate, 10 year warranty, filter and filling loop in with the price, lightweight and cupboard fit, pre heated condensate trap to help in the winter with freezing condensates. Worcester am really good don’t get me wrong just a little more expensive, if it’s within your budget a Worcester 8000 is one of the best boilers out there to be honest but is high on price

@@bluebulldog_uk Yeah nice one mate I think I’m going to go for the baxi but I’m in the West Midlands as good as the boiler I need a good plumber aha a good deep flush of the system is also needed want it done once and properly

That is one of my concerns with the new Worcester but they have assured me when I went up to Worcester it is tough but time will tell I suppose

Here’s an idea Worcester…. If your going to release a new budget boiler why don’t you release a stand off bracket at the same time…or would that make too much sense!

Budget boiler ? Still more expensive than other budget boiler that include filling loop and brass internals plus they have pipes that are set a clip distance from wall so really don't see how it's a good choice although Worcester have at last not used that dreadful kebab heat exchanger in their latest cheapest boiler

For the price and the name that’s the cheapest you’ll get, agree plastic inside is a bit of a concern but the name sells itself to customers and the after care Worcester offer is good

Ive just had one off these fitted... It took 2 guys 5 hrs to remove old one and install one of these and they charged me £3000 cash... I think ive been robbed...

The PRV/blow off is he biggest PITA on these!! Daft wee Nut & tight in the corner😡😡 A great wee boiler, but Gas Cock & Valves are too far forward. Trying to fit it in a cupboard is impossible, the pipes are just too low!! Whooshitter Botch are crap boilers, but this is one of their best.
