I know that this video was recorded 4 years ago, still, the principle to learning ratios never change. I appreciate you being precise giving step by step instructions. I also think that the definition helped as well. I love this the way you taught this lesson.✨✨✨✨Maria Rocks!♥💕♥💕
right i literally just set this up in a porpotion way, i put 232 over 4 and then i put x over 10 then cross multiply and then divide 2320 by 4 and got 580
The first thing to always do is look for the UNIT rate . That means solve for 1. In this case, ONE "day" Pretend you had a lemonade stand business. If you sold 50 cups of lemonade in ONE day, how much would you sell in 5 days? 250. Because 50 x 5 = 250. So how much would you sell in 8 days? 400. Because 50 x 8 = 400. So, how much lemonade could you sell in 12 days (if you sell 50 cups each day)? The trick is knowing that it works the same way backwards. If you sold 400 cups in 8 days, that means e sold how many "Each" day? Now you can just play with the number of days. 15 days, 9, days, etc. 50 is the each day amount of cups of lemonade.
