Hi guys, if you want to use Solid Security, you can help me out using this link to get it: wpressdoctor.com/solid/ If you have any questions, drop them down in the comments here 😊
Hi Jim! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it! Kind of you to drop a comment here! You are very famous nowadays 😀👍🏻 Yeah I have created a lot of videos about securing WordPress and cleaning hacked Wordpress websites. Going to create another one real soon. I hope to educate the market with every video I make, so people will be aware of the risks and save themselves from all the hassle and possible damage… Have a great day and take care 😀👍🏻
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words! You made my day, I’m so glad I can help you making well-thought out decisions 😀👍🏻 More awesome videos coming up! Have a great day and take care!
Hi there! Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that. And you are very welcome, it makes me happy to read your comment, thank you for taking some time out of your day to write me! I'm glad I could help you out with your website. Have a great day and take care, greetings
dutch? which one is fast in speed loading? also can they block country and allow google bots and other good bots to crawl your site? can it block bad bots? all questions are regarding free versions. thank you
Great tutorial Matt, as always. I think i'll go with Solid Security now. Another thing i wanna ask you, my site was hacked before, i pretty much cleaned all the malware scanned by Wordfence, but i still have one issue, my site is showing some strange pop-up ads, and i am not sure which part is still not cleaned on my site? according to Wordfence my site is all clean but still these malicious pop-up ads popping every now and then, can you redirect me to any of your tutorial where you explained this issue? or just give me some tips here? it'll be really helpful, thank you so much.
Hi again! Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. So if you have those popups also on other websites than your PC is infected. If only on your website, than some script is there that’s not being found by the scanner of WordFence. Try the scanner of solid security?
Hi there! Thanks for the kind words. Can you elaborate on the audit report? You mean a report on other people’s websites or the audit from Solid Security?
@@WPressDoctor No Sir, I mean Record a lecture on an audit report that provides a video demonstration of website development i.e. coding (such as JavaScript) with bullet points issues and solutions. So that we can create an audit report of any coding website. And if possible, please put a PDF file of it in your channel description to help us report.
I absolutely LOVE Solid Security, but my only complaint is that I often get "Scan Failed" messages in my logs. I'm currently trying to figure out what's causing this.
Matt if i have a primary domain linked to WordPress and inside it there are multiple other websites and all are injected with malware. Can i flush all WordPress core files together leaving content and config.php of every website will it work that way?
Hi ivaibhavjha, that could work, however, most malware is also in the wp-content folder.... so it needs a deep cleaning, and yes, flushing all core files is step 1 😀 Chewck out my cleaned hacked website series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7UoMpX_3c_M.html
@@WPressDoctor primary website is clean but other websites whose directories are inside primary , I am not able to delete all the files except config and content . Any idea for it ? I already changed all the passwords and FTP access.
@@WPressDoctor I think there's something wrong with this answer. If the website has an infection, how can you rely on the security plugin running on the same website? Malware scanners should be on the server level :)
Well yes, that should be the case. But there are many hosting companies that only do this for some monthly fee. So most people never take that protection unfortunately. And if you do, why not also protect your Wordpress website on that level…
Solid Security is much cheaper..... hmmmm... definitely leaning towards Solid Security but already have Wordfence installed. Guess we'll see how Wordfence does first before deciding which one to subscribe to. Thanks for the informative video.
Which did you go with? I use the free version of Solid Security, and I'm not sure the paid version is even needed. Several paid features in Wordfence are free in Solid Security.
Hi! Does SolidSecurity allow for 2fa for specific account types? I'm specifically wondering about the "customers" type as I want to set up 2fa for all customers that make an account. Kind regards
Hi Lucas. Thanks for the question! I personally never use Jetpack. I really dislike the clunky plugin as it really slows down my websites. That has been the problem for years now. So yeah, Solid Security is definitely necessary for your WordPress website!
Hi there! Thanks for the question! Yeah I have never used the pro versions for any of them. But now with the PatchStack integration… that is just a really excellent feature I am willing to pay for all my clients for 😀👍🏻
Pretty sure there is a setting to turn off the pausing of live updates in Word fence. Would be interesting to see how both scanners perform with actual infections etc.
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. There is such a setting actually! Just found out haha. Yeah they both can recognize infected files, so far what I have seen they both work great 👍🏻😀
It is great to have a review where the reviewer actually gives an opinion as to which plug-in is better. Most reviewers don't have the nerve to state which is better.
Hi there! You are very welcome! I’m glad I could help you out with this video and that you enjoy my honest opinions. I always say what I actually think, because that is the only way to help people imo. Stay tuned, more awesome tutorials coming up! Have a great day and take care 😀👍🏻
Hi there! I’m glad I could help you out with this video and that you found it useful. Solid Security all the way 👍🏻 Stay tuned for more new awesome videos! Have a great day and take care 😀
