Words in the Wind - Honeymoon Suite - Derry (solo) 

Derry was my favourite guitarist growing up. His guitar tones were unlike any players at that time. Incredible dexterity, feeling,and he was, and still is one of the best showman live. You can tell he loves what he does. Never mind the timeless hits hes written. Every time weve gone to see them perform its exciting just to wait to see them get up on stage, and they entertain from start to finish. Still rocking 40 years in!!!

A good guitarist knows when to shred and when to help carry the song. Seeing/hearing Derry do just that proves what a great player he is!

OMG Derry, for years I was trying to learn to play this song by my own 20 years ago when I was just a teen, and now I see you in the HS youtube channel playing it loud and clear. It´s a greeatsong and the solo is amazing!!

WOW, that punch with a single-coil. I woulda sworn it was a humbucker on a real shredding guitar like a Jackson. Crazy-good sound for that guitar. Always admired your stuff. Superb phrasing. :) EDIT: Wait.. my bad, it is a humbucker, isn't it? Slim one, punches like a DiMarzio. :)
