I'm a fresher and it's been a month working in an MNC (i don't mind revealing the name too). Trust me, I'm sorry to say but Mai yaha career build karne nahi, income earn karne ko join ki hu (I'm not looking for any career growth at all, as i want to be a teacher but I don't have a B.ed degree so just to earn money for doing that course I landed up here in an MNC) Sir, so so so many people leave the office on time. I'm working in the HR department and I've seen the other HR teams too leaving office on time but my team and all the other HR teams of my floor stay back for 2-3 more HOURS EXTRA EVERY SINGLE DAY 😭😭 and I'm now targeted for leaving home on time because for them this is not the "culture" it seems. They call me a cry baby and say we want a strong woman who works till 7.30pm to 8pm and 9pm everyday like them every single day just because the workload is high. Although I made it very clear during the interview that I'll leave office on time. i.e from 9 am sharp to 5.45pm sharp. Jab doosre teams time pe log off kar sakte hai, so why not me 😭 I'm getting mentally depressed and can't leave the job also so soon as I need money and it's my first job too. I'm planning to say 1) my Grandmom has a chronic disease and I'm required to go home on time 2) My Dad comes to pick me up as the route is the same after his office too. 3) I am staying in a very far off place and I've to leave office on time else I'll miss my transportation 4) Since a lot of my flatmates work in the same company too, i go home along with them in car so I need to leave office on time as I've to go home with them. I don't know which reason is legit 😭😭😭😭 .please help sir. Please 🙏
My manager says as a fresher u should be active and proactive to take up more responsibilities to learn, you should not come here for time, as a fresher time nahi dekhna chahiye (i know apna kaam nikalwane ke liye aisa bolte hai, learning toh kabhi khatam nahi hogi) I said very clearly ki yes sir, true, I'll learn and contribute very proactively till 5.45 after that i won't. His mouth got shut but next second he said aisa nahi chalta corporates mein Mai kya Karu 😭
Just switch the company, upskilling yourself. Because surviving in corporate is not at all easy task and company don't care even if you are dying they will just want their work done by hook or crook. And no any reason will help you dear. Just accept the dark and sad reality and plan your next move.. it's easy to switch the company than convincing people, giving them reasons of youa re facing any issue. I tried to change my project due to Overtime, less pay, never ending work load but nobody helped me. Instead they tried hard not to give me a release from my project.. so don't show your weakness to anyone.. just take other offer and leave the toxic people and company
Can you please let me know what consider as a ctc in accenture i.e. fixed + variable(which we do not get all) or only fixed pay to tell other companies?

If u don't like whatever u have been given then u need to discuss with your manager. Just tell me u r not comfortable with that and tell your interested area.
