Muiltiple videos telling the entire work van that went under water. My name is Alfred Montaner Host of the Chit Show in Miami All hats and merch available at www.luxuryribtenders.com
You should buy a boat but before you go to a ramp like this one - go practice trailering in a parking lot, practice getting the routine down so as to be efficient on the ramp, practice at a quiet ramp in a quiet spot so you can just work on docking etc, etc. Then when you are solid and efficient it at you go to a ramp like this one and show everyone up and become the hero of these ramp youtube channels.
Sure you heard it before. Boat is an acronym for Bring Out Another Thousand. Then there’s the decade old question, you know the two best days of owning a boat? They day you bought it and the day you sold it.
I was just talking to that couple. She was telling me how hard boating is, the waking up early, the preparation etc. I told her the salt water life is the best thing. Literally a few seconds later her Van goes under. I felt so bad. She was crying and she and her husband kept saying that they just got done paying for the Van. I really hope they can pull through this one.
I love when a vehicle goes in the water everyone just stands around, watches and films. Years ago I was at a boat ramp and a vehicle went into the water. I jumped in my truck, nosed up to the vehicle and grabbed my tow strap. Two other people jumped in quickly, hook the vehicle up and I pulled it out before it sank or was damaged. People would rather just pull out their phone instead of helping.
@@bobbobby1846 I drove tow truck for several years. If police call for a tow truck, you have to be able to be their in 30 minutes or less or you have to turn down the call and they go to the next company on the rotation list.
@@Idahoprepper71 I don't think that would be applicable in this situation. First off, they are not on a road or highway/impeding traffic. And secondly, they needed to bring in the big guns...a Rotator. And that may have been hung up on another job somewhere or came from a faraway distance.
@@bobbobby1846 A regular tow truck probably could have gotten there sooner. But they needed a Rotator & that could have been on another call or may have been coming from a long distance away.
Tow truck operator moves as fast as a snail. When his line free spools he shrugs his shoulders. Pacing back and forth from side to side on his rig like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Two more months of mayhem in Miami with Alfred Montaner.
I am with you. THat tow truck guy caused more damage then it had before he hooked up and got it out of the water the first time. Maybe the owners should show this video to them and go after them.
On this channel he gets loud and is distracted so easily, I turn the volume off and turn on the close caption (cc). He has great content but talking to friends and keeping the other boaters informed, takes away that great content from the RU-vid viewers. I do love his videos and share them often! 😅😅😅😅
Sucks to see nobody tried to grab their truck and pull him with a strap or at least put some pressure to keep it from getting deeper .. everyone would rather watch while they make their tic toc videos .. it couldn’t have sunk any slower .. too bad , a lot of damage could have been prevented ..insurance companies take these losses out on all of us in our premiums ..
What I like about the CHIT SHOW is 1. every word is said twice, (sometimes 3-6 times) and 2. no foul language. Watch these You Tubes and get educated on how to launch and un launch your water craft.
That's some BS....many of those boaters could have backed down and hooked that VAN with their hitch or trailer and saved it...there was time....oh no someone says...if your truck can pull your boat out of the water it sure as hel! could pull the van out....all I know is you see something do something....Over the years I've saved two kids from drowning with my boat, and towed in many boats, aside from that rescued people from fires and possible rape in the woods....Oh big deal someone says....for those you assist it is, and oh by the way I'm not a big guy or paid to assist, just a person in the right places at the right times. Don't be a bystander with a camera, if your in a position to assist do it. Who knows it could happen to you.
The size of Fred a person is only a few day food supply. Carry a double pointed stick to jam in his mouth 😂 . Is the van frame sitting on the right hand trailer?
Alfred, you need to get the grandpa pontoon done so you can vid from the deck and position it on the opposite side of these docks so you can get better shots or maybe even get involved in these situations. Always great to watch.
Vans (as well as cars, like Prius's...always face-palm when I see a Prius towing a boat) and boat towing don't generally mix well...not much ground clearance, generally no 4WD, locking axles, etc. One mistake and it's going under. Glad that none of my local boat launches are even remotely as busy as the Blackpoint Marina. I'd probably sell my boat if my local launches were this much of a circus show. @Alfred - you should get a heavy-duty squirt gun to take care of shot-killers drifting onto your lawn during these action-packed events!
Bro that shit was crazy! I tried to get el gringo in the Regulator to turn the music down but he was being a dick. Tried moving back out of the way as it was happening. Good seeing you brother! PS sorry about the smokey Merc.
Nobody needs to be shocked about the van in the water, it’s not that deep so nobody got hurt. I’m amazed it doesn’t happen way more often considering the lack of skill of these people. Don’t get so excited unless it’s yours.
Sooooo....why doesn't at least one person start grabbing lines, straps, whatever and trying to pull that van out?! I'd be doing exactly that, grabbing my 4x4 truck and at least making an attempt to pull that van out! Unless the cops won't let anyone at least try. "The mosquitoes start coming out. People start scratching their ass!" 🤣😂🤣😂☠️☠️☠️☠️ Mo Flo dude's laugh killed me 🤣😂
Alfred, you need to be the “ Crossing Guard” at the boat ramp! Everyone is clueless, they need your HELP! Feel bad for that couple, I just read they just finished paying off their work van, I hope they can recover ok from this to get to get back to work. No bueno…:(
I rented a boat when we went to Marco Island, found EVERY sandbar in the area. Stranded at one Island for four hours, caught in low tide. Even tho i anchored 30-40 foot out, still mired up
I wish this was live and you had chat .. the trailer already floated off the hitch. You got that part on film. So they weren’t trying to unhook… they were trying to get the trailer back on the hitch. Re-watch after that part where you said “Something snapped” . You’re welcome.
This boat ramp need winches or tethers installed for these boats..Apparently the ramp itself is smooth as butter, never have I ever seen so many vehicles bloop-bloop-bloop.
Slowly, little by little the van sank more and more. If they had Quickly got a line around the van they could have pulled it up a bit with another vehicle to prevent it from slowly sinking more and more deeply.
People wonder why I never bitch about my marina fees for my slip. I have some of these types of videos on my laptop and show them these. The possible damage and waiting time and the possible assault charges. Nope, happy with my ticketyboo and I'm in. Can take 24 hours to unload my boat if I want to. Have great neighbors that help me if have any problems if have any. But of course have to put up with the newbie ribbing lol. Even though have been boating for 30 years. Can't see any of that happening here anytime soon or ever lol.
I like watching these, however I don't like seeing some of those women with the "dental floss" between the butt cheeks showing off so much butt. Then people wonder about so many rapes or sexual harassment.
All that time just sitting there. With all those 4 wheel drive trucks there you'd think someone would have stepped up to the plate and pulled that van out. If I'd have been there that van would not have been in the water 15 minutes. People have helped me in the past so I will always do what I can.
Even if the croc is chill, American croc grows to 20 feet whereas gators grow to 11 feet. Hard for people to stay chill when a 20 foot reptile shows up.
That is the expensive wrecker and he still screwed up. Should have started with the truck further up and if you are going to let the driver try and drive, keep a line taunt.
Alfred Why not have a tractor on the ready to hook to any vehicle to pull it ashore , ANYONE THAT HAS TRIED TO UNLOAD WITH TAILGATE CLOSED OR Letting water sink the back half is asking for Fred to taste his fanny Be real ...
