I HATE, when she starts asking the questions surrounding the business because, she's then going to spew a long sentence that doesn't make any sense, and that will be her excuse to declare herself out, either that, or she'll highly praise the business or declare herself out...I'm starting to wonder. I think she knows exactly what she's doing when she does it. She'll leave everybody thinking HUH, and scratching their heads... Then she can just bow out quietly...;-D

This is the best guy that has ever walked into the den, so kindhearted and humble but also tough when it comes to business. Love it, I hope he's having success rn
His pitch was very strong. Even when Deborah was criticizing the ingredients, he gave a very strong and convincing defense of the decision. That being said, him saying that he was most interested in Jones was a massive mistake.
@@seto007 yeah Deborah and Kelly Hoppen talk a lot a pseudo science about ingredients. Especially Kelly Hoppen who has business is based on pseudo science.
Yeah he knew his company well, was kind and was very informative about his product. He also took criticism very well. Plus he has the same retirement plan I do.
I have a feeling he didn't want them to invest for a % of his business. His business is doing fine, it looked to me like he went there to get some second opinions from the dragons and that's what he got.

Lol You’re absolutely right though, I’m a bit of a Dragon’s Den addict and I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say that their preferred Dragon was Jenny 😬 There WAS that one who said she respected Jenny’s experience in the Banking Sector, but that’s not quite the same. Especially considering she then went & did a deal with Peter & ‘Debby’ 😋😂🙈 I LOVE her face when people call her Debby!! Lol
Is it just me that finds it a bit sad how their egos are so fragile that they always rule themselves out when someone says they have a favourite dragon. It's business, you'll still make money with someone who is capable. But they want someone to flatter them first 🙄
It's not their ego's that are fragile, it's the fact that every single one of them could easily help you make a legitimate profitable business. They don't mind if you have preferences but if you are excited about your product and you only want to share that with one of them then why should the other dragons still be interested if you're not with them. Nothing to do with ego's but with partnering up.

Nah, it's supposed to be a working relationship, hard to work with someone that's shoved that in your face. It's also a television programme, it's a bit of drama...
I will be the Devil's advocate here and point out that she did argue the "wholesomeness" of the product instead of going for the ignorant argument of "it seems to contain dihydrogen monoxide, so I'm out"
"Vegans read labels" yeah to check that a product is actually VEGAN! Literally the only reason. Could care less if it has arsenic as long as the arsenic is vegan. *note to self: check if arsenic is vegan
Life is not to work a job you don't feel fulfilled in to retire and lack purpose. Find what you like to do now while you're young and never retire. Live a long and happy life.
What a lovely man. Such dignity, but open for criticism. Very intelligent, and charming. I would consider myself lucky to be his friend. I hope he is successful. He deserves it.

@@ing9545 With all due respect, you are speaking to a language teacher. The metric usually used is whether a native with no contact with foreigners (an old person from a village, for example) would understand you without considerable effort. You need to at least make an effort to change the shape of your mouth when speaking a foreign language to achieve this. This guy is pronouncing Spanish words as if they are English words and makes zero effort to emulate Spanish phonetics. He's lived in Spain for 20 years but speaks like a guiri that is reading from a phrase book. 20 years! lol.
@@ing9545 And yes, people in Spain tend to speak English with a strong Spanish accent (or they don't speak it at all). This is due to a lack of exposure to native English. They dub everything into Spanish. I have had Engish friends come to visit who are not used to it, and they struggle to understand my Spanish friends when they speak English.

I loved that man realizing and saying he will have had come out of the den with more knowledge than he went in with. Truly a gentlemen, I really respect people that can just knock their egos out of the way and take advice and criticism, young or old but it seems most are older these days sadly
What a brilliant man. He went in, took the most valuable advice for free and I'm sure his business will grow now that he knows what to focus on. Excellent job!
This old man has class. He listened to the dragons and took their advice and dropped the chocolates and milk and concentrated on the liquor. I hope he succeeds 🤘
This is one of the better pitches I've seen, and this guy is so humble and works so hard for his business. I sincerely hope he sees more success with it and has taken the dragons comments to heart.
Can't help but love him, no matter if he wanted to do business with Peter only and not the other Dragons, leaving the den with them all staring at him in awe.
I've watched thousands of these dragons den videos and this guy had to be the must humble entrepreneur. He was humble, listened and was very kind at the end when he received no offers
The most pleasant likeable guy ever seen in the Den. I wish him well! Imagine if he was a doctor or a Citizens Advice Bureau advisor - his voice and his manner alone would be the greatest reassurance.
I've had the Besos "bailey's" a couple of years ago and it's amazing. He absolutely should have branched into chocolate and milk. There's stilla huge untapped market, and Vegans are always looking for something new!

This guy's smart enough to know business acumen when he sees it and humble enough to take on board its advice. Just like that, he said he'd focus on the liquor. So many young entrepreneurs decide to ignore advice and keep pushing random products that won't sell, just to satisfy their creativity. A true entrepreneur understands it's the market that decides and plays the game accordingly. Good on him for being so wise.
I would have invested just because of him regardless the business, working with this man it would be an enriching experience no matter what you're doing or the results
That's the first time I saw someone say that he is going to do exactly what the dragons told him to do. Many, many others came out with an attitude not willing to listen. Well done.
Wow what a true gentleman. Very genuine, humble, honest and friendly. Wish there were more people like this man. The world would be a much happier place if there were.
