First time watcher, and I can say, it doesn't take long to identify a quality craftsman. That is the style bench I want for my soon to purchase lathe.

I've just learned 'bout your channel over there in Norway, sir. I have just purchased the same machine in Nova Scotia and I'm in the planning stage for a bench. Because this lathe can swing a large diameter both between centres and when the headstock is turned 90 degrees to the bed, I plan to bolt mine to the benchtop. In addition [and you can still do this], I plan to enable a shelf close to the floor and load it with sandbags to dampen further vibration when the blank has not been trued concentrically.

Nice project, but you are putting your fingers super close to that unguarded blade. Make some push sticks please.

Thanks for making the video, its given me lots of good ideas but PLEASE, use a pusher when running wood through your circ bench saw.

Was it vibration free? Self leveling feet would have been a nice addition. Great job though 👏

Nice work & will adapt your ideas for my new Lathe bench. However I will use Push sticks for safety reasons much more than you. Every cut I saw you made gave me the shivers🤘🖕🖐👍

Great video. Your design is beautiful and you always pick such good music for the video. I do have something else that i would like to say though. The video, i think, is a bit too long. I think you should have made it into 2 parts here part 1 is designing and cutting the wood and part 2 is sanding and building the wood.

Overall, nice design. Music too loud compared to voice, music *terrible* as well... please don't think it adds to your presentation, I couldn't bear it, had to mute it. Sloppy joint with dowel, not fitting when you show the ends with gaps. Not everyone has your heavy machinery in their workshop. Why not show us a hand tool approach, no pocket holes, a more skill-based approach, not a 'money' approach?
