Thanks for testing the FPS difference between quick and slow shots ;) These will be perfect for my young boys (at a distance!), as they always jam the pump action springers, and hate the dual rev switch / trigger of normal nerf blasters.
Certainly doesn't seem like the play for PvP games, but I'm looking forward to taking it for a spin in HvZ. The rate of fire of flywheelers is great in that setting, but the lack of instant reaction times can often be the death of you while using them, which stops being an issue with rev speeds as quick as that. (fps drops don't matter if the goal is shooting someone half a foot away from you lol). Unfortunately the full rev speeds of the high power version means it hits a bit too hot for a lot of HvZ, so I'm looking to pick up the low power one and swap the motors in order to make sure I still get those instant rev speeds (since some footage I've seen of the low power one shows some slower rev speeds, which would defeat my point. Wish there was *more* footage of it, but most (all) review channels just have and use the high power one.)
Oh it's perfect for pvp when you've got a big ole caliburn or other long Springer and you enter an area of the field that's definitely compact cqb. Let blaster ride on the sling and draw your nightengale. This is going to complement my 200fps Mk3 and my 200 fps SBL perfectly
I'm interested in the nightingale. the only drawback for me is not the new magazine but the xt30 connector because most lipo that I have uses xt60. But I'm still interested in this blaster.
is it possible I could cut the mag down to say a 10 or 12 round capacity? Not a fan of the mag sticking out of the grip and maybe try review the osprey kit cuz apparently it makes the nightingale a little bit more quieter and can convert to both full auto and semi.
One thing you didn't mention was whether or not the blaster has a built in voltage cutoff/alarm? It probably doesn't but I'm just wondering since you did install the lipo with no external alarm, not that it would fit anyway. Just wondering.
Hahhahaha I knew it can be quite loud from other reviews, not this loud......I agree with you that Long distance is where nerf can shine competing gel blasters. PS: I have got the Swin kit from Sun for swift, would you like to try it?
