I work in the private sector, and I bring home $2k- $3k a week as a owner operator truck driver. The big twist is that if my truck breaks, I dont get paid until it's fixed. We don't have a gun violence problem. 2017 had more automobile deaths than firearms, and around 65% of deaths caused by firearms were suicides. Firearm deaths doesn't even rank in the top 10. We have a national health problem here, heart disease is the number one killer, cancer is the second biggest killer and diabetes is the third highest killer in the US, we need a national nutritional overhaul before we kill ourselves from nutritional neglect.
