I like to take those carpets to the (self) car wash, hang them on the wall, and pressure wash them with soapy water. You can watch the dirt come blasting out. Leave them hanging for a while and most of the water will drain out, then on the driveway in the sun finishes the drying. Very satisfying. I do like that Vanish powder idea, though. Wish I could find a place to buy 850 molded carpets.
dont like beige 850's, 10 years ago i would say buy another, but trying to find a good 850 high spec inside an out isnt easy now. so easier to buy interior bits as they come up on ebay.
I think beige must have been fairly popular in the 90's for so many 850s to have it. The problem is it doesn't age very well. It seems to go a salmon colour. I feel more relaxed with the grey interior for some reason.
