I just got hired at Bain! I wont be working in Consulting though. I'll be working in IT. I also grew up in a low income neighborhood but I don't have a college degree so I am nervous because it seems most Bainies come from affluent colleges. How would you describe the work environment at Bain for non-consultants? Thanks for the video

I have a question, I have heard about BCG visiting associate internship, If you know about visiting associate through other people and what it is like, I will be happy to hear regarding this from you. Also, i didn't found the location list where BCG visiting associate internship are available regarding the locations it is available in..

Did you do an mba prior to Bain? And do you think that’s preferred for someone who went to an elite undergrad but doesn’t do consulting (I do software sales) but wants to pivot to consulting

I have run three successful companies and sit on a few boards and, for mine, there is no substitute for learning on the job. You can't finish Ivy League / Oxbridge university and come in and tell a board about management strategy. There is no experience and hence no credibility. MBB, and consulting for the most part, is an industry unto itself. Once they get their hooks into a business they find ways to integrate themselves and then milk it, often for years. Don't get me wrong, some of these people are very smart, but they really are mince to the grinder. The lifestyle is tough. My advice, if you want to work hard and are prepared to put in 70 plus hours a week, is go and start your own business, run your own race, do it on your terms and do not conform to the MBB factory.
