The exercise at the end of this was exactly what I needed to dive head first into programming again. As soon as I started reading the String page, I was immediately reminded of when I did the same for Python. I'm happy to share that I successfully completed the challenge, without cheating ;), and went on to write a simple program afterwards. I really appreciate the way this has been structured. I've read a couple books, but it really helps to have realistic examples so that you can actually put these things into practice. I find I learn best when I'm allowed to make mistakes and then figure out what I did wrong. Cheers, Ryan! I look forward to finishing the rest of the Working Class Java course.
