They are very old. This is probably the most recent source code but I don't suggest much from this apart from some ideas in software architecture and things like that. github.com/BracketCove/PosTrainer
Just wanted to say thanks, got a job as an android dev 6 months ago and this video was partly why I decided to stick specifically to learning android development in the first place.
The easiest way to learn is to see example, learn teory, do much practice. I'm also sometimes feel like "damn, that code is simple but i can not understand that at all, and there is no other information or tutorials, what should i do"
I have A1 : 2 audio files V1: Some dancing image V2: The title The title has a black background and does not share it's dominant feature with anyone. Actually scratch that. It does overlay and alpha. But now I have a different problem. I have the dance effect on Audio Master. I don't want the title to move, only the V1. Probably not the scope of the video
Thank you for that information, I am in my mid life crysis I guess you call it and i've always wanted to create things on mobile apps and I bought the course's at Udemy and I am hoping (Fingers crossed) I will gain enough knowledge to make some apps and land a good job. Again thank you for the video!
This video is such a hidden gem! Thank you Ryan for making this, it's so difficult to find an explanation about teaching programming that is as crystal clear as yours
Thank you so much for the series. Still can´t understand how is this free. Really helpful. Had to rewatch some parts more times but almost everything eventually fell into place for me and now I can try your Sudoku app tutorial. Looking forward to it. You´re a great teacher. I don't understand how people can miss out on such a quality tutorials. Thanks once again.
I've been an Android developer for the last 5 years, and even for me this is really helpful. When you learn on the job, it's easy to take things for granted and stop questioning the fundamentals. This helps to clarify and confirm assumptions I had made along the way! Thanks for making this, fantastic resource for developers, new and experienced.
Im gladly to reach one of your project, Im graduating student and Im about to make my Capstone project. I prefer to propose project which is Ride Hailing/share ride application to be exact. How can you help me? Or there is a way to reach you personally. Thank you for your respond.
The exercise at the end of this was exactly what I needed to dive head first into programming again. As soon as I started reading the String page, I was immediately reminded of when I did the same for Python. I'm happy to share that I successfully completed the challenge, without cheating ;), and went on to write a simple program afterwards. I really appreciate the way this has been structured. I've read a couple books, but it really helps to have realistic examples so that you can actually put these things into practice. I find I learn best when I'm allowed to make mistakes and then figure out what I did wrong. Cheers, Ryan! I look forward to finishing the rest of the Working Class Java course.
very nice a new technical approach that have been used her that i appreciate , I wonder how chess game will be like when run diff models for diff computer level so hope this tutrial exist in android with use of proto buffer and logicEvent Class
Spoiler: Don’t read if you don’t want a hint on the exercise solution. Thanks for your hard work on this course. Did you not violate the assignment restriction in the solution?
Complete newbie here, my experience is with security and infrastructure but not development except scripting / automation. I am interred to build ride sharing app for a country in Africa, and when done I want to make it open for use or donate it at least the first release and then may be monetize it at later time. These are the parameters I am working with. 1. There country wide cellular use, probably GSM or may be 3G. People use cards to load credit, mostly use calls and text. 2. Data or wifi does not exist at the moment. 3. Most people use android but there are few who use iPhone / or tourists. 4. The capital is fairly laid out map including details map from open map. 5. Taxi use quite heavy and thus I think fairly good opportunity. 6. Transaction, may not be ideal, as most transaction is done via cash, not much use if credit card. So limitation: 1. Yes budget to pay for software or subscription 2. The use case is nails for people to hail taxi from source / destination using text. I would really appreciate if you can give some idea what I can do. Here yscwgat I got from chat got --/ Fantastic! Start with setting up your development environment. Install React Native or Flutter for cross-platform app development. Choose PostgreSQL as your open-source database and use Express.js or Django for the backend. Leverage OpenStreetMap for mapping functionalities. Explore Heroku or DigitalOcean for hosting your backend. Ensure that the libraries and dependencies you use align with open-source licenses. Collaborate with the vibrant open-source community for support and improvements. Remember to commit to GitHub or another open-source repository for version control and community collaboration. Embracing open source not only saves costs but also fosters innovation and collaboration. Ready to embark on this open-source journey? When prompted for offline use For offline functionality, you'll need to store essential data locally on the user's device. Implement caching mechanisms to store maps, route information, and other critical data. Utilize local databases like SQLite for efficient offline storage. Prioritize optimizing the app for minimal data usage. Additionally, consider implementing a queuing system for ride requests, allowing users to submit requests even without an active data connection. Once a connection is reestablished, the app can sync the data with the server. Ensure a seamless user experience, even in areas with intermittent connectivity. Offline support is crucial for enhancing accessibility and usability in various environments.
Yes, but you will need to set up authentication via some kind of server. I used firebase auth in this app for demo purposes, but I do not cover setting that up beyond what you see in the application code. Feel free to use whatever auth server you want.
Happy 30th! 🎉 Your dedication over the past decade has not only benefited you but also countless learners like me. Grateful for all the knowledge you've shared. Here's to many more years of success and growth! Time does fly, but you've made the most of it. 💻🚀 Here's to more code and cats! 😺
24:38 Flutter allows you to write all the native code you like, it's kind of how React builds upon the "root" div, but you can still edit the index.html, I've even edited the Linux source code. :D
@@wiseAsshmmm, off the top of my head I don't, but I'll keep an eye out, but it's just the way Flutter 3 creates platform specific folders, with its corresponding native source code.
Thx, I use my cell phone hotsopt for adb wifi, it will be connected, but after I turn it off, I have to use cable for initial connection, please tell me whats the problem??
