I am based in Colorado and work with plant spirit medicine and the scopolamines and poisonous plants. I also worked purely with the spirits of datura and henbane who have both become allies, I have finally begun ingesting within the last couple months. I’d love to connect with others interested in plant spirit medicine in the area!

Great video thanks to you both. I decided to grow my own baneful/poisonous plants from seeds to really establish a reciprocal relationship with them. I’m in the U.K. & we have plots of land we can rent called allotments. After a couple of years with a pot garden at home I got an allotment & now I am able to let my poisonous plants grow into their full glory as they have a big space all to themselves. I have Wormwood & Mugwort either side of my allotment entrance & they are the size of bushes now. They truly feel like my plant soldiers/guards that look after my Witch garden when I’m not there. Growing, interacting, caring for these plant allies is such a joy

Be careful with the daturas, they're very persistent plants and you might end up with more than you bargain for. Definitely one for the patio.

Watching now, but I had to tell you how excited I was to see the topic! This has been a passion of mine for about a year. Friends & family are now hesitant to drink anything at my house! It could be the tumblers that I bought that say 'Drink at your own risk' with a skull and cross bones. 🤭😂🤣

In some folk practices, a lot of the process of trying to figure out what a plant did came from looking at its appearance and how animals interacted with it. For example, violets have heart-shaped leaves and are connected to love and beauty.

Nothing compares to meeting Toloache and seeing her dog. Accacia/Mimosa or Iboga are probably the most powerful root magic there is, tread carefully and don't be held back by astonishment.

Love this topic. All those books are great and Modern Herbal is always my go to when I want a broad picture of folklore, origin, growing, description and uses, many of which have been forgotten. It's the number one book I recommend to anyone working with plants.

Many of our tropical houseplants are toxic... so yes, great place to start. In any case, I fell in love with the idea of doing spiritual work with poisonous plants on a trip to the desert recently. I was able to make a datura flower essence there. I figured someone must be out there teaching about this... and here you are. I will try to take one of your courses someday. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
