Everyone
Preparation:
First step: Open Elden Ring once after its been updated and close
Second for Winrar go to: www.rarlab.com/
-Click on English(64 bit) download and install
Third for .Net 6.0 Desktop Runtime go to: aka.ms/dotnet/...
-Download, install and restart computer
Fourth for Seamless Co-op go to: www.nexusmods....
-MANUAL DOWNLOAD it to Folder
-Right Click Elden Ring in your steam library - Manage - Browse local file - Game
-Drop the folder inside the .zip file into ELDEN RING\Game
-Open the newly added SeamlessCoop folder and open ersc_settings.ini
-3 lines Under PASSWORD put: ''cooppassword = gitgud1337''
-Must Launch the game once with ersc_launcher.exe hit menu then quit the game so the required files are made

Mod Setter
Mod Engine 2.1 and Enemy Randomizer
Mod Setter 1st:
For Mod Engine 2.1 go to: github.com/sou...
-Click on ''ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64.zip'' below Assets and save in Folder
-Drag onto desktop
-Open and delete armored core 6 and Dark souls III files
-Edit ''config_eldenring.toml'' with notepad and uncheck always use this app as default
-At line: external_dlls = put the absolute path to your SeamlessCoop's Dll location \\ersc.dll
-At line 30. after ''path ='' change ''mod'' to ''randomizer''
-Like this: ''enabled = true, name = "default", path = "randomizer" and save the file
Mod Setter 2nd:
For Enemy Randomizer go to: www.nexusmods....
-Download into Folder and Install the recommended Net Runtime 6.0
-MANUAL DOWNLOAD file into Folder
-Drag ''Randomizer'' folder into ''ModEngine2''
-Open the randomizer.exe and set it up
-After its done running make a .rar file with your whole ''ModEngine2'' and upload it on google drive for your party to download.
-Open game with ''launchmod_eldenring.bat''
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone after mod setter is done
Fifth for Mod Engine and Enemy Randomizer go to the link provided by your mod setter
-Download into Folder and Extract into ''Elden Ring\Game''
-And now run the game with ''launchmod_eldenring.bat'' inside the new downloaded folder
-Right Click it - Send to - Desktop Create shortcut
-Delete Folder on desktop
Players can't see each other until they reach Limgrave.

Quick troubleshooting
Make sure Steam is running before starting the batch file
If you are a returning player, you will need to sit down to a site of grace to gain the new summoning items
Also, you will need to delete everything related to Elden Mod Loader especially dinput8.dll and have seamless coop completely removed not just overwritten.

FAQ Q - How do I Fix mismatch with regulation.bin A - Download the latest Item and enemy randomizer, overwrite your current enemy randomizer with the new one and rerun it with exactly the same seed and options as the mod setter. Q - Why when I start Elden ring with launch_EldenRing.bat it loads up normal elden ring ? A - The path for your external dll isn't properly set to your Seamless coop ersc.dll Q - I get the error "Failed to save game. Save Data is corrupted. Select "OK" to try again". A - You need to start Regular Elden Ring and start a game once, after that you need to launch Elden Ring through ersc_launcher.exe once (no need to start a game) and now it should work. Q - I am trying to go back to regular Elden Ring but anticheats blocks me. A - You probably have Elden Mod Loader still installed, delete dinput8.dll

@0neCloud This absolutely works now. I was messing around with runebear trying to change regulation.bin, and I can't tell you how much easier this was. Absolutely important not to miss starting up the original game after patch, then seamless co-op, then randomizer in that order. Don't make the mistake I did and mess with scaling before getting randomizer set up, you can go back and do it after. Thanks again 👍

@milanpechart I had a similar issue, you need to download the latest version of mod loader of I remember right. There's a few tutorials out there that have outdated links (Since they're a few years old). If it's not mod loader, it's one of the other links, but it will be there in the most recent versions.

Hey man, great video, small problem. Got seamless co-op working, and randomizer partially working. Plants are randomized, but enemy and shops arn't. Error keeps popping up every minute that says: mismatch between regulation.bin and other randomizer files. Tried copying my reg.bin folder a few different places and messed around with updating my randomizer pathways, but keep getting the same thing. Any ideas what's going on?

@@davidmorgan8919 Sorry i never came across this bug myself, have you tried to rerun the randomizer so it gives you a new seed? Because i've had a few instances where it would not do what i exactly asked.

I just did. It re-randomized the plants that were already randomized, but still no enemies or items. Trying to make a new character now, and if that doesn't work, I'll uninstall and redownload it. Nexus says it can happen in known bugs occasionally I guess. Thanks

Ok I finally fixed the issue, for mismatch, download the latest Item and enemy randomizer, replace your current enemy randomizer and rerun it with the same seed and options for everyone

Hi ! Thank you for your video. I did all the steps in the video and when I launch the game, it welcomes me with the message "welcome to Seamless coop" but when I start a new game, the characters don't have the seamless coop items in their inventory. Do you know why that is?

@@StrayPaolo If you are returning with a character from an older seamless just sit at a site of grace and they will be given to you. Can only be used outside the first Cathedral in Limgrave.

For this one, The author of item randomizer says you need to launch the regular game once and play a character then, after that you need to launch ersc_Launcher and finally you can play with the .bat launcher with seamless and randomizer

@@0neCloudI believe I am having the same issue, after launching the game it gives me the error “Failed to save game. Save data is corrupted. If there was a recent Elden ring update, you must first launch Elden Ring without randomizer to migrate your save data. If you’re using Seamless Coop it has its own save file and must be launched without randomizer to migrate its save data.” However even after the launching base game, then seamless, then the randomizer it still gives me the error.

How do I get Seamless to work as well? I did everything following several different guides and just tried yours and still nothing. Only randomizer is working when I launch with .bat and Seamless is only working when using it's own launcher. Please help.

@@Darth_Chalice Seems like a pathing issue, maybe just a typo. Are you using absolute path (\\) to your seamless's ersc.dll location inside the .toml file ? Also both mods released updates in the last few days might also be that. Elden Ring 1.12.3 that just dropped screwed it up for many.

@@soto9385 I will assume you are a returning player and already had seamless installed before. Did you completely delete your old Seamless coop before putting the new version. Overwriting only and keeping old files will result in crash.

I tried - reinstalling steam and deleting cache - reinstalling elden ring and deleting cache and roaming - updating nvidia drivers (3090) with DDU - installing windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.31-win-x64.exe - runing it with and without mod launcher , and toggle_anti_cheat - deleting all easyanticheat data and cache - updating windows - hear some people could run it with task manager open, I cant Idk what to do hashsah

Maybe there's an operation that you do that is faulty. In my experience, you don't need to go to this extent at all to fix this problem. At this point you might as well try and reformat your computer and retry the modding process. But again I'm more inclined on the idea that something along the way got wrong.

I also have the DLC and its working fine. On a side note, randomizer doesn't work on DLC content yet, the author has to update it, but he made it compatible with 1.12 so people can play on current patch.

You need to check all sections and then play with the options a bit to get what you specifically want. Sometimes the randomizer doesn't run properly too, redownload the tool and rerun the randomizer.

@@nurp0 one player has to use tiny great pot the others effigy of malenia, need same password. For compatibility issues you need same mod setup if you added more.

I believe your extra step would be to put the regulation.bin file of this mod inside: ELDEN RING\Game\ModEngine2\Mod . Open randomizer and under select game exe there's merge other mod. When you click that it will prompt you with multiple options, select regulation.bin and go get it inside the modengine2 folder we just dragged and hit randomize.

@@MainAcc-k6i It seems related to the .toml file not finding the ersc.dll. Maybe the merging configuration you use need a specific methodology. Sadly I am not really savy with enemy randomizer itself, If it's not a pathing issue I can't really help here

@@avEn_12 You are supose to be able by regular steam. If you used Elden Mod Loader in the past you need to delete dinput8.dll . In doubt just move Modengine2 and SeamlessCoop folders out of your Elden Ring\Game directory

I would guess it has something to do with the configuration of the .toml file. Maybe it's just a typo but you need to make sure that the seamlesscoop's dll path is put at line 14 in externals dll []. It has to be the absolute path, meaning \\ between each folder ex: ...\\ELDEN RING\\Game\\Seamlesscoop\\ersc.dll

The new version of seamless requires you to hard delete the whole seamlesscoop and then putting the new one. Also if you are a returning player, just delete everything related to Elden Mod Loader in your Elden Ring\Game especially dinput8.dll.
