I work for Amazon in America - I drive a PIT, stow, pick and sort at times. The pay is excellent and I get full benefits as a reduced time employee. I work flex shift and a minimum of 30 hours a week. I have been doing it … off and on (quit a few times and was rehired). My advice to everyone, please eat a solid lunch and drink lots of water. Avoid sweet drinks and cookies. You will thank me later.
Thanks,l appreciate your courage,am new in UK and l am also seeking for the same job like yours, because l did not have any clue about the warehouse job am about to work, anyway thanks for your video
Thanks for the insight! I’m currently a student studying some random degree and I wish to study Medicine after. However I’ve worked part time in McDonald’s for almost 4 years and I’m starting to feel the dread and boredom of it. I also only work 2 shifts a week max 9 hours on Sat and Sunday and I dread that I won’t survive if I continue working once I get into medicine because medicine is another 5 years to go and I’m already burnt out after 4 years already
(That is 9 hours in total - I work 5-10 on both sat and Sunday and they give 30 min unpaid break for each day) - I know I sound like a pussy for working these baby shifts but everyone is different and I can’t stand working longer than 9 hours. I also have anxiety issues and haven’t made any friends there since. I know colleagues and we work together but I haven’t met them out of work nor been to any parties or events. I’m such a sad boring guy. Sorry for the waffle.

Can a single person live in the UK on salary from a warehouse? To pay for the apartment, bills, etc. and maybe manage to save something? Or is this job only for students who live with their parents and husbands/wives whose partners already have one salary? So it is like an additional source of income
