Hi Friends, in this video we will discuss about some questions that I will try to answer about working in Dubai as a Doctor - eg. Salary, Work culture and GOLDEN VISA.
Very good work on your channel Dr Sudeep, kindly continue your work and keep posting videos... kindly not look at the subscribers/views. Your quality of work is very good.
Thanks Dr for a very insightful explanation related to the basic queries for the residency in Dubai, interested to know can freshers also be given a chance to apply for Golden visa or its only applicable to the research field, Public health, Scientist, Kindly through some light on that. Regards Nadeem
Hey hope you are in good health, your video was very informative Thankyou. please I would like to know the (starting and also maximum) salary i should expect as a cardio thoracic surgeon, who has gotten their degree from pakistan but has mrcp. How many publications/internships/letters of recommendations do you recommend i gain before trying to get a job in uae?
Please, I am an Egyptian pediatrician. I studied a Bachelor of Medicine in Egypt and took the Egyptian Fellowship Certificate in Pediatrics. It took four years to obtain this certificate. I have one year of experience as a pediatric specialist. What is the expected salary for me in Dubai?? Are there opportunities to work as a pediatrician?
Is it necessary to have log book for postgraduates from India for appearing in DHA licensate exam. If yes and not issued from institutions, then, what's the alternative.
Thank you Dr.Roplekar for the informative video. Can you please explain to me the difference in job profile between a specialist and consultant orthopaedic surgeon in dubai?
Hi Azharudheen Razak. Thank you for watching the video. Job profile for both would be similar in terms of daily work. But, Salary is higher for consultant, the hospitals that hire you will be the best.
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 very few doctors like you explain so nicely about working in Dubai. Can you please tell me is it good for surgical ophthalmology or surgical retina
I am a pediatrician from Mumbai with 11 years of practice. I am planning to shift to Dubai for family reasons. I have applied for the DHA registration process. Can you please guide me on further line of formalities that needs to be done.
Hello sir, I am recently passed my MD pediatric exam in India. I want to know what is job prospects, vacancies , salary as pediatric specialist? Thank you.
Sir I m a internal medicine resident India, I am having three doubts :- 1st the most important one, will I be able to shift my parents there along with me?? 2nd should I do MRCP first and thn shift 3rd should I do super speciality and thn shift??
hello sir. first of all i would like to appreciate the work you are doing. i have literally gone through thousands of videos for brief details about doctors in dubai and all i found out is garbage.. you were up to point. i'm an orthopedic surgeon, currently working in new delhi. i have recently gone through dha and currently applied for license. would like to know how to find a job there ??
Sir very useful.. Thank you.. Can u pls elaborate on cost of living in Dubai..i mean what percentage of our salary we incurr as expenses..i know this is subjective .. But an approximate will be helpful..& How do u rank the gulf countries in terms of cost of living.. For doctors
Appreciate your explanation. I have graduated from Russian universities and directly after graduation(MBBS) I went for Surgical Residency(2 years) and i was awarded with Master in Surgery, afterwords i worked one year in general surgery. So what are the steps i can take to get a job in DUBAI or UAE?
Hello sir. I am DNB radiologist with 5 yrs experience. I am doing CT scan and MRI reporting since 5 yrs. But dont have any specific speciality like neuro, CVS or MSK. And not doing USG. Is it easy to get job as specialist for my work profile?
Nice info brother, and the questions asked by your followers were very nice, and nicely explained please tell me ,as you said this golden visa lasts for 10 years, for both the leading earner and also the dependants. Is ageing parent /parents also include in dependent?
Hello Ahmed Raza. Thank you for your comment. For parents as dependents for golden visa, it’s best to check with GDRFA as they can provide up to date information for the same. Check these link here for some basic details. u.ae/en/information-and-services/visa-and-emirates-id/residence-visa/long-term-residence-visas-in-the-uae u.ae/en/information-and-services/visa-and-emirates-id/residence-visa/sponsoring-family-residency-visa-by-expatriates
Thanks for clarifying the things. I appreciate your efforts Sir.I want to ask you about the scope of MS ENT with fellowship in head and neck oncology with MRCS degree?
Hello Doctor! My daughter is a MBBS graduate & is currently working in India. Please let us know the requirements to obtain a DHA or a HAAD license to work in DXB or ADH.
Please make a video to guide us on DHA/HAAD exam preparation , especially in Radiology. Another query..how is the daily average case load for a radiologist there? Do radiologists practice ultrasound everywhere or are there usg techs to do ultrasound in certain places? Thank you once again 😊
Thank you for your comment. We will be uploading a video outlining the process for applying DHA Licence. As for ultrasound, majority of hospitals and clinics requires the Radiologist to do the ultrasound. The daily average case load varies depending on many factors like weekends, government or private hospitals etc. Hope that answers your queries.
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 Thank you for the reply sir. Another query if you don't mind! What subspecialty among diagnostic radiology has the highest demand? Is there good demand for fetal medicine? I'm really interested in fetal imaging but i don't know about it's scope in the UAE. I would like to chose useful fellowship for a better job opportunity in the UAE. Thank you! 🙏😊
Fetal medicine is extremely in demand, almost like a super specialty in Radiology. In Diagnostic radiology, cardiac CT/MRI , MSK and interventional radiology are in demand.
Thank you for the amazing video. I wanted to know about the job prospects/ expected salary in Radiology given that I would be having American board certification and 1 year US experience as an attending. Thank you.
Hi Aakshit. If you are able to get a consultant licence-it would be around 80K AED pm, if it’s a specialist then it would be around 40-50K AED pm. I guess with American board you should get consultant licence - get the self assessment test for clarity. All the best.
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 - Thank you so much for your reply. One more thing, Is it true that the major hospitals usually have very few job openings and if I am left with option for medium tier hospitals, do they have enough funds to pay consultant level salary? I checked the assessment tool it still asks for 1 more experience year, so working 1 year as specialist in Dubai, can the license be upgraded to consultant after that? Thank you.
@@aakshitgoyal721 Yes you can start off as a specialist. Write to DHA so that you will have clarity as to when you will be eligible to upgrade to consultant. The hospitals do need highly qualified doctors, so paying salary is not a problem in high throughput departments.
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 thank you for your video. I am a doctor going for Radiation Oncology can u tell me scope and salary and the procedure. Thank You
Hi sir thanks for such an informative video.. I'm working towards clearing MRCEM in the next 3 years while working in the ER in a hospital in India.. Can you please elaborate on the scope and competition in Emergency Med in the UAE? thanks
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 Thank you sir.. I wanted to know whether MRCEM will be sufficient without MD in emergency medicine? And do they consider EM as a speciality just like any other? Thanks
Hi Sir, my sister has done her DM in Neuroanesthesia & Critical care from AIIMS,Delhi. If she gets her DHA from Dubai then what salary we can expect as of now.It will be really helpful if you give a tentative figure of her salary per month or per annum.
Thank you for the wonderful information Dr. Sudeep! I am a Specialist Dentist having an active DHA Registration Certificate, but i havent yet got a job in Dubai. Is it possible for me to apply for a Golden Visa from India? And also if you can tell me what I should do to get a job. I have been applying on online job portals since 6 months through Linkedin, Indeed etc. without any luck.
Hi Dr. Kartik. You need to have a DHA licence for applying for golden visa. For jobs, do have a look at the hospital websites/ write to hospital HR/ network and drop your CV via email. I wish you all the best.
Thanks for your explanation, but I need to ask that, can I apply for GP job in Dubai (DHA) through E-mail, or I have to drop my CV in person? Thanks again ❤️
Hi. Use email, LinkedIn and network with friends/ colleagues. Track the websites of the hospitals and clinics to look for vacancies. Also check out indeed.com for job listings.
Hallo Dr, i am a board certified Neurologist from EU country planning to apply for a job in UAE. I found your video very helpfull but times confusing. What type of jobs are doctors that passed board exams in their specialty field eligible for? Can i apply for a consultant position for example? Hi Dr Sudeep, thank you for your time and explanation regarding doctors salary. I will have my CCT in paediatrics from UK in a year. What salary should I expect? Will I be eligible for Consultant post? Thanks again
Hi Mahesh. With CCT you are eligible for consultant post. Salary package can be around 50-60kpm (can be higher too, this is conservative estimate) scope is generally very good. All the best.
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 Hi Sudeep, thanks for the info. Any chance, could I get your contact number? Or any other means of contact. Will be really helpful. Thanks
thank you for this wonderful video. i would like to know where will they fit me in their system. i am a physician with 7 years of post pg experience in medical college here in India. i will also get my MRCP (UK) degree soon. i also have a certification of diabetology from ROYAL COLLEGE OF PHYSICIAN LONDON. i have enough experience in dealing with covid patients. what post can i expect with my current qualification and what salary am i eligible for.
Hi. Post MRCP if you have GMC registration as a specialist for 5 years you will be in Tier 2 - then for consultant you need 5 years experience. Please have a look at the PQR for more details www.dha.gov.ae/Documents/HRD/Healthcare%20Professionals%20Qualification%20Requirements%20(PQR)%202014-1.pdf Otherwise you can work as a specialist. All the best.
Sir I recently completed MD/MS obgyn from India ,in July this year.If I go to Dubai now ,will my working as GP there count as post MD experience like we have SR ship here in India and wot about other countries
Just wanted to answer your question. The health authorities here are very strict about the number of years of experience post registration into your state medical council as a specialist. Indian MD or MS degrees come into Tier 3 of the Requirements which means you would need THREE years post registration into your state medical council as a specialist to work as a Specialist Physician. Correct me if I am wrong. But this is the latest up-to-date knowledge that I possess.
@@DrCompassionate is there any other certificate required for experience or only 3 years post registration of MS is sufficient..? What is the minimum experience required to work as a MS candidate..?
Very well explained video. Sir, I am asking on behalf of my wife, She is an MD, Obs/Gynae, & working in Govt Hospital of New Delhi with over 12 Years of work experience post PG, also having MRCOG passed 3 years ago. What are her prospects in Dubai? What kind of role/ salary She can expect? Thanks.
Hello! Dr Sudeep. That was a nice informative video. I am Dr Sandeep, currently doing my mch (superspeciality in surgical oncology). I am trained in all abdominal, retroperitoneal and thoracic surgery, limb salvage surgery. What are the possibilities and oncological facilities are there in Dubai for me and what is the procedure to get into those places. And also I want to know how much salary I can expect for my qualification?
@@dr.sudeeproplekar8737 .. Thank you. I just wanted to know how should I approach. I mean, How wud I know about the vacancies, hospitals? Will Indian mbbs, ms, mch, degree be counted there?
Hello Sir! I am a Pediatric neurology fellow in India so can I get a job in Dubai as a Pediatric neurologist after completing my degree or need to wait for 2yrs post degree? Kindly let me know! Thank you
Thank you Dr.Sudeep for your concise information. I saw on the PQR that the MS degree from India is Tier 3 and so it is never possible to get a Consultant post in Dubai. Does foreign fellowships after MS change the chances and makes it possible? Also is there any other way to make it possible to become a consultant even though it is just MS degree from India?
Hi Mudit. For getting consultant licence there are two possible ways as per PQR. One is do McH and get 5 years experience post Mch- you will come in tier 2. Other is to get membership from royal college with 5 years GMC registration as specialist (for Tier2) or CCT-CCST certificate for Tier 1. For Tier 1 you would need 2 years experience post qualification. Hope this helps.
Hello Dr Sudeep, I'm associate professor anaesthesiology. Have 10 years post MD experience and have completed my fellowship in pain medicine recently. I have two main queries. 1. Anaesthesia being more prone to litigation and mishaps, is it safe to practice in Dubai? Is there any procedure if anaesthetic complications occur or straightaway u r behind the bars? 2. My 4 year kid is having nephrotic syndrome. He is on fixed schedules of immunosuppressive agent. What kind of challenges we may face as parents?

I’m clinical biochemistry (chemical pathologist) resident currently in turkeyon 3 rd years-left one more year . I was planning to move to uae… honestly I couldn’t get much information. Then I heard you were explaining on video dha license for doctors… about my specialist ( like non clinical) .
