I am already in my last year studying BA in Communication in the 🇵🇭 and internal communication is really something that I wanted to delve into after graduation. Thank you for this video because it gives me more insights what to expect if ever I've become an internal communications specialist in the future 🤞🏻. New subscriber here! Looking forward to learn more from your videos. 😊
Nailed it as always Joanna P! I want to do a learning session at work to share exactly what you’ve said here in fact. So useful to hear someone articulate it so clearly. Because it is simple really. But never seems to be in practice. And is so misunderstood 😅 Maybe that’s why we love it so much, who knows.
Definitely appreciate an explanation of the difference between IC and engagement! I’m IC but get frustrated at HR’s lack of employee engagement so I tend to lean in more than I probably should.
Yes, I would really benefit from the video about the difference between internal communications and employee engagement. Since I’m enployee experience partner and thinking to switch to internal communications. Thanks!
I work in marketing & I really enjoy it. But I recently received a job offer in a company i'm very interested in, but in an internal comm role. I'm really having a hard time deciding whether this translation would make sense for my career or not l, and if it'll be as enjable as marketing. Any advice?
Internal comms is a bit like marketing was 20 years ago. You are expected to wear many hats and can often be spread quite thin, depending on the team size and resources. In saying that, I LOVE internal comms and highly recommend that you try it. You might fall in love with it too!
