Love these! Since you asked: When I print to my small plates, including the 6 x 6, I tape a piece of the paper I'm printing on to the bottom of a clear piece of 1/2"-thick acrylic. Then I place the plate on the top of the acrylic positioned where I want the print to appear. In addition to making registration easy (sometimes I use the tool, sometimes I don't need it and just eyeball it at this small size), I can move the acrylic around my desktop to get a better angle for mark variety.

The 6x6 is a nice plate to work with! Love your results. I think I like the first one best though. It is a good size for paint pens as well. Thanks for another fun video.

The biggest “aha” to me in this session is printing the 6x6 on 8.5x11 paper.i always cut down to a square…but this looks great and I think it would look very interesting framed that way. Thank you as always Fulton.

Thank you for this video. I am sharing my limited knowledge in a class at our Senior Center. The box of gelli plates of 12 pieces are 6x6 squares. This is very helpful as I have given them all your website name to watch for better readiness in learning this medium. Your style is different than most and your instructions are clear.

Idea-Stick the gelli plate on the paper you've drawn with the margins you prefer. Flip the paper over with gelli plate on it. Set the paper in the mini placement tool and let the gelli plate land/stick to your plexiglass table top. Then pull the paper off. I think your gelli plate will be where you want, with the margins you drew on the paper. I think so, hope it works?!

I love the miniature Dekooning! he was big on pinks and greens at times certainly! These worked out very well, the registration tool is a super addition to the tool box. Double yes to making small prints as studies for larger paintings! Pps so much so I ve ordered a Gelli Arts 6x6. (Well I've seen their products here)Just need to order some paper now! Though I've got some heavy cartridge here. That'll do meantime. Thanks as ever for the inspiration. ❤

Go ahead and do it your way. For me it makes no difference if the print is aligned or not because I cut the best parts and sei it in a mat and then frame the peice. I generally frame 11x14,12x12, 8x8, 8x10 frame. I am however learning a great deal from you as regards to application, layering, stencils vs masks & color etc. Thanks for all you do!

Hi Fulton. You mentioned that you have been unable to find a brayer small than your "baby" one. I have a 0.4 inch one, red rubber roller and wooden handle. It came in a set of three, (the other two are 0.8 inch and 1.2 inch.) I have seen the set on eBay just now. at £13.70 (a little over $18). You should be able to find them in the US. I hope this helps.
